With the recent launch of the new 1.6 character Kazuha, many Genshin Impact players may be wondering how to effectively build the character. While Kazuha is unlikely to serve as the player's main DPS, the character makes an excellent addition to any party as one of the most effective support and sub-DPS characters currently available in Genshin Impact.
When building Kazuha for either a sub-DPS or support role, the best weapon currently available for the character is the 5-star Freedom Sworn sword. This is due to the weapon's main stat being elemental mastery which increases the effectiveness of elemental reactions generated by party members.

If players are looking for more of a damage-centric build, the 5-star Primordial Jade cutter is also a viable option due to its Crit Rate main stat and ATK bonus. For F2P players, the best option will likely be the Iron Sting 4-star sword. Its main stat is also elemental mastery and it provides a substat buff that increases all damage by 6% every time the player deals elemental damage.
The best four-piece artifact set that players can equip on Kazuha is the Viridescent Venerer set. The set's 2-piece bonus increases Anemo damage by 15% and the set's 4-piece bonus increases Swirl damage by 60% while decreasing an enemy's elemental resistance to the element infused in the swirl by 40%.
Like Venti, in terms of artifact stat priority, players should be attempting to roll artifacts in the Viridescent Venerer set that have a high elemental mastery or energy recharge. Alternatively, if players are prioritizing DPS they should aim for Crit Rate and Crit Damage.
When leveling up Kazuha's talents players should be prioritizing the Kazuha Slash elemental burst and Chihayaburu elemental skill. Players looking to use Kazuha in a DPS role can still upgrade his normal attack skill, however, the elemental skill and burst should still remain the priority.
In terms of party composition, there are also a number of characters that pair extremely well with this new character. Both Klee and Ganyu work extremely well due to how easily they are able to trigger Pyro and Cryo Swirls and the high damage from both character's elemental bursts. For F2p players, Fischl and Bennett also pair well with Kazuha due to their skills and bursts.
While many Genshin Impact players may be anxiously awaiting the upcoming Inazuma characters, Kazuha's versatility and effectiveness as a support character are likely to make him a mainstay for players' party compositions throughout future updates.
