Blizzard's 30th anniversary is this February, and the company is bringing its fans into the celebration with goodies for all of its titles.

This February, Blizzard is celebrating its 30th anniversary, a huge milestone. The company is opting to mark the occasion by releasing a series of Celebration packs with in-game goods for all Blizzard games, as well as promising even more surprises during this year's free BlizzCon Online.

Blizzard is also offering an exclusive Arthas Helm of Domination replica for sale, which is nearly 17 inches tall and available to purchase beginning on February 19 through the online BlizzardGear store. Blizzard's Celebration packs are already available in-game and chock-full of goodies for players to utilize.

These Celebration packs contain goods for every Blizzard game from World of Warcraft to Overwatch and beyond, and there are three different packs in total that are currently in the Blizzard shop. As a note, the more premium packs include everything in the previous packs, plus a few added bonuses. The first pack is called the Essentials pack, and it includes the following:

  • Moon-Touched Netherwhelp pet for World of Warcraft
  • Tracer’s OSV-03 Rogue mount with Tracer Hero in Heroes of the Storm
  • 30th Anniversary Overwatch player icon and spray plus 5 Loot Boxes
  • A set of StarCraft 2 and StarCraft: Remastered portraits commemorating three decades of Blizzard
  • 10 Madness at the Darkmoon Faire card packs for Hearthstone
  • A pet and portrait for Diablo 3

The next step up from the Essentials pack is the Heroic pack, with everything in the previous tier and these other goodies:

  • Snowstorm mount for World of Warcraft
  • Raynhardt (legendary) in Overwatch
  • Random Madness at the Darkmoon Faire Legendary card in Hearthstone
  • Diablo 3 wings

Finally, the third and highest tier is suitably named the Epic pack, and it contains all of the goods above plus the following:

  • 30 days of World of Warcraft game time
  • 5 Golden Madness at the Darkmoon Faire card packs in Hearthstone
  • 3 Golden Loot Boxes for Overwatch
  • Diablo 3 Helm Transmog Items

For interested parties, nabbing any one of these packs will also yield a 15% discount code for the Blizzard Gear Store, and since the store tends to be stocked with new items during BlizzCon, it's likely that some new merch will be making its debut soon.

There's no word yet on what the BlizzCon surprises might entail, but Blizzard typically makes its biggest announcements of the year at the convention, so fans can likely expect something exciting. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, this year's BlizzCon is entirely online, but since it's also free, more fans will be able to participate than ever before.

Blizzard does currently have a number of games in the works, including Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4, so perhaps something in those veins will be announced. Fans can look for further updates on BlizzCon later in the month.
