In miHoYo's Genshin Impact, there is a wide variety of different characters to choose from. Characters specialized in healing, high-tier DPS with even higher damage output, as well as characters design to support. All said and done, very few on Genshin Impact's roster can match the unique style of Mondstadt's resident genius — Albedo.

Albedo makes for an excellent support character with Geo constructs that offer high-level tactical advantages. Albedo's talents allow him to be used in a multitude of different ways. This ironically makes for a lot of trouble narrowing down which characters excel in a party with the alchemist.
10 Mona
Good friends in lore due to their shared love of knowledge, Mona makes for a good teammate with Albedo. Mona's talents make for some of the easiest applications of Hydro status in the game. This makes for a great enabler of crystallization reactions.
Either could work as the main DPS of the team or as two supports that work off of each other. Whether it be Mona's Hydro talents or Albedo's swordplay downing the enemies, both benefit from deflecting even a little bit of damage and generating maximum shielding.
9 Chongyun
One of the biggest downsides of Chongyun has always been his elemental skill. Granted, the zone is convenient for Chongyun, but it turns everybody's attacks into Cryo attacks. Not convenient for elemental reactions but this isn't the case with Albedo.

Albedo is the great exception to Chongyun's faults. Albedo's skill makes zones that give off Geo energy, rather than infusing his attacks. In this way, Albedo can utilize Chongyun's Cryo-infusion to defeat the enemy while also benefiting from easily crystallized shields.
8 Qiqi
Many scoff at the thought of getting Qiqi in place of another five-star. However, Qiqi has her own quirks that make her an excellent teammate. From incredible healing prowess to easy-to-apply Cryo damage, Qiqi makes for a great partner for Albedo.
Albedo can excel as a DPS, with the synchronic support combo of Qiqi's healing and Cryo attacks. The Qiqi-Albedo partnership is always healing and creating shields for the team.
7 Xiao
Xiao is already well-known for his ability to use plunging attacks without fall damage but in combination with Albedo's tactical merit, he becomes so much more. Higher impacts after leaping from Albedo's constructs can only increase Xiao's high plunging damage.

Xiao also benefits from the extra Geo damage, making crowds of enemies shiver in the process. That said, due to the peculiarities of Xiao's abilities, and the lack of an easy crystallization ability, players should be warned that a healer could be beneficial.
6 Razor
Razor is the best among four-stars in a lot of areas. Among these, he reigns supreme in plunging damage granting a natural advantage has for Albedo's playstyle.
TRazor has more benefits than just natural supremacy in damage — his talents not only infuse Electro into attacks but are among the easiest to use in quick succession. Razor's elemental skill increases energy recharge allowing him to reuse his burst more than other characters.
5 Xingqiu
It's not just in lore that Xingqiu and Albedo work well together — they're good partners in battle as well. Xingqiu's Rain Blades are convenient for the vast majority of characters in Genshin Impact. Albedo is no exception to this rule either, finding more use for the skill than others.

Albedo has the potential to deal good damage, so Xingqiu's blades offer a major benefit. With Rain Blades creating constant shields around Albedo, players can focus more on building Albedo's attack and talents.
4 Beidou
When building Albedo as a support-class fighter, few four-star DPS characters stand out as much as Beidou. Her skills work to counter crowds just as much as single opponents, not to mention her excellent mastery of Electro damage.
Like others, Beidou makes for easy crystallize reactions. In addition, she has the added benefit of being an incredible damage dealer for her rarity. Should players master Beidou's skills, they will find that she makes one of the best DPS-support partnerships with Albedo.
3 Ningguang
Most Geo characters have a lot of benefits when paired with Albedo based solely on Geo resonance alone. While it can be hard to choose between the wide roster of Geo characters, Ningguang makes for the best choice for Albedo.

With a 4th ascension passive that increases Geo damage after passing through her Jade Screen, Albedo's skills will increase in effectiveness. That in addition to the resonance that increases shield strength by 15%, Ningguang and Albedo become two geniuses to be reckoned with.
2 Diluc
While Diluc normally holds the Knights of Favonius with contempt, his gameplay tells a different story. With Albedo primarily acting as a supporting character, few in Genshin Impact's roster can make for a better DPS than Diluc.
Few characters have easier access to Pyro mechanics than Diluc's elemental skill and burst. While mastering Diluc's talents, players can constantly bring flaming slashes to the enemy and create shields in Albedo's Geo zones. By having Albedo around, Diluc is given a major defensive advantage.
1 Yanfei
Most catalyst users are fairly good choices to match up with Albedo yet few offer the skillset that comes with Yanfei. With high damage attacks that are easy to access and the best Pyro application among four-star characters, Liyue's top legal expert makes for a top-notch arsonist.
Pyro resonance is also one of the best resonances to have in an Albedo team, second to the Geo resonance. Players may find it beneficial to pair Yanfei with another Pyro character like Bennett for extra healing or Diluc for extra DPS.
