Pokemon GO trainers can now check out the full list of exciting Legendary and Mega Battle Raid bosses coming to the game during July 2021.

July is here and the summer is quickly flying by. As Pokemon GO Fest 2021 approaches, fans of the mobile AR game are in for one of the most exciting parts of the year. The annual anniversary event is always a massive festivity and there are plenty of exciting Battle Raids spawning this month leading up to the event weekend (and following it).

So far, the main July calendar of events is already confirming some pretty exciting Mega and Legendary Battle Raids that will show up this month. There are no major new debuts listed on the public calendar, but there are some returning favorites including Deoxys and Mega Gengar. The raid lineup is going to make it very tempting for Pokemon GO trainers to fly through a lot of Premium Raid Passes during the coming three to four weeks.

The July Legendary and Mega Raid schedule is now live and there are a lot of familiar faces so far. Both Deoxys and Mewtwo are still fairly relevant and important in terms of impact on the PoGO PvE metagame which should help keep the 5-star raids in high demand thoughout a lot of the month. There's also some mystery about which Legendary Pokemon will be appearing in 5-star raids after July 23, so that will likely be an exciting surprise that helps makes raiding a popular activity during the final week of the month, as well.

Bidoof will be appearing in five-star raids on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Bidoof! For more information about the various Bidoof shenanigans on the horizon, check out the Bidoof Day blog.

The Mythical Pokémon Deoxys will be appearing in its Defense Forme in five-star raids from Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. to Friday, July 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

The Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo will be appearing in five-star raids from Friday, July 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, July 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Mewtwo! Different Pokémon will also be appearing in five-star raids on the second day of Pokémon GO Fest 2021, so keep a lookout! Only Mewtwo will appear as a GO Battle League encounter for Trainers rank 20 and up on the second day of Pokémon GO Fest 2021.

Stay tuned for more updates on which Pokémon will be appearing in five-star raids after July 23.

In addition, the following Mega-Evolved Pokemon will be appearing in Mega Raids.

Mega Houndoom will appear in Mega Raids from Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. to Friday, July 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Mega Gengar will appear in Mega Raids from Friday, July 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, July 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Mega Charizard X will appear in Mega Raids from Friday, July 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, August 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Keep in mind that it's always possible that additional Battle Raids may show up as surprise events come and go throughout the coming month and that there are already some surprises promised for the last week of the month. Keep an eye on the nearby radar for anything particularly exciting or surprising as June arrives within the next few days.

In the coming weeks, we should learn more about what other events will be arriving during the rest of the Season of Discovery. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
