Both car enthusiasts and those who know little about cars can share the excitement of seeing the decked out, rare, and nostalgic cars from the Fast and Furious franchise. There are both new and old iconic cars featured in each of the famous 8 feature films, plus the latest additions Hobbs & Shaw and soon to be released Fast & Furious 9.

There are fantastic makes and models in each movie, from Dom's 1970 Dodge Charger that gets many references and appearances throughout the franchise, to insane super cars that only get a brief moment to shine before they're most likely destroyed in some high-intensity action sequence. There are some cars that definitely stand out more than others, and 10 that take the cake when it comes to being ultra-cool.
7 Acura NSX
Though the Acura NSX was mostly spotted racing down the long, barren road with the intention of busting Dom out of the prison bus in Fast 5, it also makes an appearance in the prior film, Fast & Furious. The black NSX-T belongs to Mia Toretto, and is rear-wheel drive, has a 6-speed manual transmission, and features parts from the Japanese model, the NSX-R. The car has 252 to 290 horsepower and has a top speed of around 168 to 175 mph. The perfect car for a prison break out!
6 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX
After it's appearance in Tokyo Drift, the demand for the iconic 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX went through the roof, with so many fans of the series dying to get their own. Han Seoul-Oh gives Sean the car to practice drifting in after he crashes his Nissan Silvia, giving it plenty of fun and exciting drive time before it's unfortunate demise when Sean was trying to escape Takashi. This bad boy boasts 280 horsepower and goes 0-60 MPH in a quick 4.4 seconds. It's got an impressive top speed of 157 MPH.
5 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS
The Mitsubishi Eclipse GS was a customized car that was manufactured by Diamond-Star Motors and Mitsubishi, making a brief but memorable appearance in The Fast and The Furious. Brian drove the Eclipse in his first street race, then afterwards in an escape from the cops.

Johnny Tran unforgivably destroys the car, giving it a sad and untimely death. Though it's not as powerful as other cars in the series, with 140 horsepower and a top speed of 130 MPH, it is iconic for it's bright lime green paint and RoboCar full body kit.
4 1997 Mazda RX-7
The bright orange Mazda RX-7 is one of Han Seoul-Oh's main cars in Tokyo Drift, and for good reason. It has modifications that boost it to 306 horsepower and can go 0-60 in under 6 seconds. It looks cool and drives unbelievably fast, proving that it's a great car for drifting around the streets of Tokyo. It's a car that won't go unnoticed anywhere in public, for it's sleek design and bright, popping color.
This is the super car millions of people were talking about following the release of Furious 7. In one of the most insane and totally unbelievable stunts in the entire franchise, the Lykan HyperSport vaulted from one skyscraper to another! Sadly, the $3.4 million super car took a tumble after the crazy skyscraper fiasco and was destroyed. W Motors created only 7 units of the car, being the third most expensive car in existence. It can go 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 239 MPH, making it one beast of a car!
3 Nissan GT-R R35
Brian O'Conner is an obvious fan of the Nissan GT-R R35, having driven them multiple times throughout the franchise. He races Dom in a beautiful silver 2011 GT-R after the events of Fast & Furious 6.

The 2012 model of the Nissan GT-R R35 is one of the main cars driven by Brian in the following movie, Furious 7. Unfortunately, the latter car meets a typical, undesirable demise when it is blown up by missiles.
2 Honda S2000
There's no other car in the entire F&F franchise that can outdo the utter glam and style that Suki's Honda S2000 in 2 Fast 2 Furious. The cutesy roadster sports a custom set of hot pink vinyls and the notorious bottle of Nitrous stored behind the seats. Suki proved her racing skills in this hot rod, landing the jump over the draw bridge with only minor cosmetic damages. The car continues to be referenced in mass media and many replicas were made.
One of the DEA-seized cars that the main crew set out to steal was the Ford GT40. It turned out that the car had a computer chip with all of the location's to Hernan Reyes' cash houses, totaling $100 million. The Ford GT40 used in the film isn't actually a real one, but a replica created specifically for the movie. GT40's are incredibly rare race cars that can be found selling for $1.5 million between car enthusiasts. Having won the 24 Hours of Le Mans four times in a row, this amazing car was on top in sports car racing in the latter 1960s.
1 1970 Dodge Charger R/T
In The Fast and The Furious, this beautiful Charger was built by Dom Toretto and his father, but was never driven again after the early death of the father. It boasts an extravagant 900 horsepower and held an impressive record 1/4 mile time at exactly 9 seconds.

Though the tough car goes through many hard times, having been rendered unfixable after a semi-truck crash, getting caught in explosives, and ramming into enemy cars, it is always fixed up by a loving member of Dom's crew. This collectible Charger can do 0-60 MPH in just 6.2 seconds and has a top speed of 146 MPH.
The iconic car chase that this beautiful 1966 Corvette Sting Ray was a part of is definitely the most memorable moment of The Fate of the Furious. The 2-door coupe boasts an impressive top speed of 140 MPH. It is undoubtedly one of the coolest looking cars in the entire franchise, with its stunning red paint and classic, old school style. Obtaining one of your own could set you back around $50-100k or more, depending on the condition. It's stunning and made a fantastic addition to the franchise.
