Cliffside Hamlet Youth is a great way to hit foes from a safer distance, and should definitely be picked up sooner rather than later. Here's where!

Those wishing to make their way through the dark and decaying world of Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights will need to become proficient with a few Skills, including some Subskills. In the earliest parts of the game, the kinds of Spirits one can acquire are quite limited, with only one granting a ranged attack.

The Subskill named after the foe that the player needs to defeat to obtain it, Cliffside Hamlet Youth, is a great way to hit foes from a safer distance, and should definitely be picked up sooner rather than later.

The room where the Cliffside Hamlet Youth can be found is two rooms to the right of the one containing the Saint's Passage Respite. However, it is not along the ground floor that possesses many pits full of enemies that look and act much like the sought-after Subskill.

Players will need to get higher up by double jumping to the edge of the large central stretch of land above the pits containing the horizontally jumping enemies. This upper stretch of land is easiest to reach from the right side of the room.

When atop the plateau of grassy dirt, the player will find the enemy version of the Cliffside Hamlet Youth near the center of the moderate expanse of land. The fallen villager will speak to the player briefly before attacking, so be sure to heal before approaching this lonesome figure.

This foe is very much like the other enemies in the area, but with much more HP. Patience will be important here, as this fight is like a miniboss battle, though, the enemy only uses a single predictable attack repeatedly, therefore evading damage shouldn't be too challenging.

Whittle down their life a few strikes at a time in between dodging and the adversary will fall quickly enough. Afterward, the player will be rewarded with a Subskill that performs the same attack that the enemy used very frequently.

To use this Spirit, like with all others, players will have to equip it while resting at a Respite. While doing so, one will see a brief description of what this Subskill can do as well as some tragic backstory.

Gamers should treat this Subskill as if it one was throwing a stun grenade. The lobbing arc that the Spirit travels when one uses the Subskill in combat allows the player to not only hit foes who are horizontally distant, but also those below them thanks to the downward curve of the Spirit projectile.

Initially, Cliffside Hamlet Youth can be used 18 times at a cooldown of 2.7 seconds, meaning that players can spam this Subskill against more resilient targets to some decent results, however, the stunning effect of this attack does not last long and it does not deal the most damage, therefore should be used in conjunction with a few others if a strong foe gets too close.
