Maelie, the Wanderer is yet another special mount introduced with the 9.1 update to Shadowlands. Unlocking her is quite simple, all gamers need to do is find her. However, she is an elusive mare. There are a handful of different locations she likes to hide away a, and most are difficult to reach areas.

Players will need to trek all the way across Korthia to eventually tame the horse and claim her as their own. With a few easy tips, the wandering Maelie can be tracked down. Before players go out and look for her, they will want to speak with Tinybell (60, 22) on Korthia.

Maelie could be almost anywhere on the map, but there are a few things to look out for. She loves to climb on rocks, and is often tucked away in secluded areas on Korthia. Gamers will spot her on the top of a hill, on the cliffside, or on the edge of the zone. So far, she has been found in each of the following locations.

• (35.8, 46.6)
• (38.4, 31.4)
• (39.7, 34.9)
• (41.3, 27.5)
• (42.8, 60.4)
• (43.0, 32.6)
• (49.3, 41.7)
• (50.3, 22.9)
• (60.0, 15.2)
• (61.3, 40.4)

These are just a few of the places Maelie has been spotted over the past month. Before resorting to checking these waypoints, it might be a good idea to see if there is a group looking for Maelie. There are plenty of players on each server that are trying to unlock the mount, so it would be beneficial to work with other users to track her down. A quick question in the general chat could get some responses as well.

While searching the areas, the macro /targetmaelie will mark her if she is close. Gamers can use a raid icon to make her location even more apparent. Because she likes to hide in obscure places, having a marker on her will save people some time.

Gamers will need to locate and interact with Maelie a total of six times. She can only be found once a day. Every time she is found, Maelie will wander back out into Korthia. She will pick a new spot every day, making the process of acquiring the mount tedious at times. Gamers need to make sure to speak with Tinybell before setting out and once Maelie returns.

Again, teaming up is a much better way to share the burden of searching. Once people are able to track her down for the sixth time, "reassure" her and she will return to Keeper's Respite. After speaking with Tinybell one final time, she will give players the rare mount as a reward.
