Innersloth reveals collector's edition bundles for Among Us' console debut and releases a new update, adding a task and additional language options.

Following the game's ascent to viral stardom last year, developer Innersloth has been working hard to bring new and exciting content to Among Us. The multiplayer behemoth already got its new Airship map earlier this year, as well as an array of new colors for its crewmates. However, the team is far from finished.

Earlier today, Innersloth dropped a brand new update for the game, fixing several bugs, implementing new language options, and even adding a task for crewmates to complete. The latter will see players clean out the vents imposters use to traverse the map, adding some interesting mechanics that could thwart the treacherous crewmates' plans.

While a vent is being cleaned out, imposters will be unable to access it, and if they're in the vent when a crewmate goes to clean it, they'll be dramatically revealed. It's sure to offer some tense interactions between the crew and the hidden monsters that hide among them. Meanwhile, Traditional and Simplified Chinese and Irish language options have officially made their way to the game, and several fixes have been implemented. A bug that saw players locked in place after the conclusion of a meeting has been resolved, while the "Shhh" screen's scaling has been readjusted.

Other issues Innersloth has fixed are the clouds moving backward on the airship, a problem where iOS devices crash when starting up the game, and a bug that saw Geoff Keighley's mask hilariously turn into an eyepatch. Innersloth notes that a few patches are still in the works, including one to scale the 4:3 resolution and another to address a problem where the wizard hat from the Airship skin bundle is missing for some players.

Alongside the update, the studio also revealed three new Among Us Collector's Editions for the game's console ports. Those interested can pre-order either the Crewmate, Imposter, or Ejected bundles right now on the Maximum Games Store, with each version being available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The Crewmate edition is the cheapest of the trio, coming in at $29.99. It includes the base game and its DLC (in a 3D lenticular case), a Skeld map poster, Imposter stickers, a holographic access card, and downloadable PC and phone wallpapers.

The Imposter edition, on the other hand, is available for $49.99, and includes everything in the Crewmate bundle as well as an enamel pin, a lanyard, and a purple crewmate plushie. The Ejected Edition is the most expensive of the lot, coming in at $89.99 and featuring everything listed so far alongside a beanie, a fleece blanket, and a steelbook case. Much like Among Us' Xbox and PlayStation ports, there's currently no release date for the bundles, with the Maximum Games Store offering a placeholder date of December 31, 2021.

Among Us is available now for PC, mobile, and Switch. PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S versions are in development.
