Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's newest leak suggests that Yemen and Plaza are coming to the game's Multiplayer audience in Season 5.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has introduced a wide variety of new content in its Season 4 release. Fans have explored new maps, weapons, and Zombies updates prior to the mid-season update. Despite this, many Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans are already looking forward to Season 5 as new leaks have revealed possible upcoming content.

Fans have been exploring Call of Duty: Black Ops map ports, including Nuketown, Raid, and many others since the game launched. With remastered maps continuing to appear in each season, one leaker is predicting the next set of possible battle locations. While this is far from a confirmation, it does offer insight into the game's possible future from a prominent leak source.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War leaker TheMW2Ghost revealed a massive leak in a rather short Tweet. The leaker stated that fans would see Yemen and/or Plaza in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War sometime in Season 5. These maps originally appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and have not been seen in some time. Fans are expecting a burst of nostalgia from the recreation of these map environments, although it is unclear exactly how original the maps will be if they do get ported into the newer title.

To be fair, it is not unrealistic for Yemen or Plaza to be ported into Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Many fans have been requesting their favorite game modes and maps from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and the game is canon in the franchise's current storyline.

Activision and Treyarch have not confirmed the release of these maps, and only the Call of Duty leakers have mentioned them thus far. Whether or not Yemen and Plaza are ported, fans are expecting maps from the original franchise titles to make an appearance in the game as new updates build up content in the Call of Duty experience.

When Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 launched, Yemen and Plaza quickly became iconic in the multiplayer environment. Sharp corners, direct pathways, and several overwatch points made for a complex yet streamlined combat experience in the game. If the maps do return to the franchise in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, it could add variety into the multiplayer environment and return fans to a classic Black Ops experience in the modern title.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
