Collecting all pictures in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus can be a little tricky, but it is needed to achieve 100% data collection.

Unlocking cute pictures in Doki Doki Doki Literature Club Plus sounds like traditional dating sim/visual novel fodder, but getting them requires players to take multiple trips down the title's psychological horror moments.

There are 113 pictures to unlock in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, and doing so requires players to engage with side stories, multiple endings, and make certain choices during the limited gameplay moments. Fortunately, the game has a skip button that speeds up the process of collecting 100% data, and all pictures carry over between multiple playthroughs. Whether it's for the Breakthrough Trophy or Achievement, or the chance to view all the artwork, this guide details how to get all pictures in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus.

  • 8-17 - All of these pictures are unlocked by completing both parts of the 6 side quests, and the bonus 7th side quest, 'Equals'
  • 18 - Finish the poem mini-game in under 20 seconds
  • 19 - Select the word 'Kawaii' during the poem mini-game
  • 20-44 - To unlock all poems in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, players will need to experience every branch of the story. This means saving and reloading before Act 1 ends to spend time with Sayori, Natsuki, and Yuri before starting Act 2. A playthrough where only 1 romance option is focused on will also need to be completed.
  • 45-62 - Both parts of the first 6 side quests need to be completed, and the 7th bonus side quest, 'Equals'. Full romances with Sayori, Natsuki, and Yuri in Act 1 also need to be completed.
  • 63-72 - The most difficult collectibles to obtain. These secret pictures in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus are poems that appear during key moments in Act 2, but it is random which one appears. This means multiple full resets of the game are required after Act 2 to try and unlock all of them. The same pictures could appear in different playthroughs, so it is best to leave these secrets until last, as it could take hours to collect them, even with skipping dialogue.
  • 73-84 - Will unlock when players complete every part of the 7 side quests, and experience full romances with Sayori, Natsuki, and Yuri in Act 1.
  • 85 - Select the word ‘doki-doki’ during the poem mini-game
  • 86 - (Act 1) Try both Sayori and Monika for weekend help before choosing Natsuki or Yuri
  • 87Delete Monika’s character file before starting a new game

  • 95 - (Act 3) Delete Monika's character file before she begins her monologues
  • 96 - Sent in an email (will unlock while doing side stories and experiencing all endings)
  • 97 - 98 - Achieve the special ending of the story (This the 'Good' ending and requires romancing Sayori, Natsuki, and Yuri during the same playthrough by saving and reloading before Act 2 starts)
  • 99 - (Act 3) Skip Monika while she is talking
  • 100 - (Act 1) Call Sayori for help during Natsuki and Yuri’s argument
  • 101 - (Act 1) Tell Sayori you would still walk home with her
  • 102 - Review the file poemwords.txt for any anomalies (Found by opening the 'Files' menu in the proper menu on consoles)
  • 103 - (Act 2) Experience Natsuki's 'Play with me' scene (this requires writing 2 poems for Natsuki in Act 2)
  • 104 - (Act 2) Select a corrupt word during the poem game (this is the long, strange, blocky text that obscures other words)
  • 105 - 107 - (Act 1) Write a poem for a different character in each chapter
  • 108 - (Act 3) Listen to at least 15 of Monika’s monologues (turn on 'auto' if players want to do something else while Monika talks)

Most Doki Doki Literature Club Plus Achievements and Trophies are easy to get, but for the Breakthrough Trophy or Achievement, unlocking and playing the song 'Candy Heartz' is needed on top of collecting all of the pictures. To do this, play the song 'Candy Hearts' until the more creepy 'Candy Heartz' song unlocks. Play this new track and then check the side quests menu to launch 'Test VM'. However, this is currently bugged for console users, and only PC players can unlock 'Test VM'. The PC version received a patch to fix the bug, so a console update should hopefully arrive soon.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
