Call of Duty: Warzone loadout expert NICKMERCS reveals another class setup, this time highlighting the two guns he uses for Rebirth Island.

While a majority of Call of Duty: Warzone players sink all their time into Verdansk, some prefer the close quarters warfare of Rebirth Island. As such, while NICKMERCS usually bases his Call of Duty: Warzone loadouts around Verdansk, he has finally given fans of the smaller map some suggestions.

NICKMERCS lists the many strengths of the class in his video, citing how players will “move really fast” with the “fun.” setup. He also points out that it will give players a weapon for “any situation,” with his two gun choices being hugely different from one another. Showing off an impressive bit of gameplay footage with the two weapons, the video proves the worth of the gun pairing. While NICKMERCS being forced to play Rebirth due to Call of Duty: Warzone’s hackers and stream snipers is frustrating, at least this class sees something positive coming out of that situation.

The first weapon recommended by NICKMERCS is the KAR98k Sniper Rifle. The pro has previously claimed that it is his favorite Sniper in the game, with the FaZe co-owner sharing a loadout for the weapon in the past. While it may seem like a strange choice for the smaller Rebirth Island, the map does feature a lot of rooftops, windows, and long lines of sight. As such, being able to quickly switch to a Sniper in certain scenarios is beneficial, with NICKMERCS’ build only adding to the Kar98k’s strengths.

For the Muzzle, NICKMERCS suggests the ever-popular Monolithic Suppressor, with its damage boost and radar removal being too useful not to have. The Singuard Custom 27.6" Barrel is up next, and the streamer pairs this attachment with a Tac Laser for close quarters fights. A proper Sniper Scope makes ranged battles easier, while the FTAC Sport Comb Stock will help with movement. However, while this Call of Duty: Warzone loadout would be decent on its own, NICKMERCS also shows the gun that will accompany his Kar98k.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Singuard Custom 27.6"
  • Optic: Sniper Scope
  • Stock: FTAC Sport Comb
  • Laser: Tac Laser

NICKMERCS recommends the XM4 Assault Rifle from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, a weapon that has seen its popularity rise within the last several weeks. Unsurprisingly, he equips the gun with an Agency Suppressor, the Black Ops equivalent of a Monolithic Suppressor. He also suggests a Tiger Team Spotlight Laser and STANAG 60 Round magazine. Finally, he advises players to use the Microflex LED Optic and Raider Pad Stock for close quarters situations.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Ammo: STANAG 60 Round
  • Optic: Microflex LED
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Stock: Raider Pad

With NICKMERCS proving that this is a great setup for Call of Duty: Warzone’s Rebirth Island via his gameplay, fans should consider this build. With the Kar98k covering long-range battles and the XM4 helping with everything else, players are prepared for any encounter.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
