Call of Duty has officially confirmed the latest Double Battle Pass XP weekend and it starts sooner than players expected.
Last weekend, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans were greeted with Double XP and now the community is seeing a Double Battle Pass XP weekend. The latest Double Battle Pass XP event is already live in Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War and players will receive the benefits in both the standard multiplayer game modes as well as the popular battle royale.

The Double Battle Pass XP event is live in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone from right now until July 12 at 10:00 a.m. PT. As the Battle Pass nears its end date, this Double XP event will allow fans of Call of Duty who are free this weekend to earn far more rewards in progressing from level zero to 100. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's Season 4 Battle Pass is set to expire on August 9 when it will likely be replaced by the next one.
With Warzone being free-to-play, fans of the battle royale mode who opted to purchase the seasonal Battle Pass will receive the same Double XP benefits as players who purchased Black Ops Cold War. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's multiplayer encompasses several game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, and Combined Arms. Fans of Call of Duty who wish to optimize how much XP they earn during this Double Battle Pass XP event should consider earning XP in Domination or Warzone in order to earn the most.
The latest Call of Duty Battle Pass has several cosmetics that FPS fans can earn. The level 100 gear that the Double Battle Pass XP event will help Call of Duty players progress towards includes the Jackal "Iridescent" Operator skin, "Forgotten Oasis" Weapon Blueprint, and "Takeoff" Vehicle Skin for the motorcycle. Jackal is the latest Operator added to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but its Iridescent skin is the first-ever Ultra-rare Operator Skin.
It's currently unclear if future Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Battle Passes will include more Ultra-rare Operator skins or if the Season 4 one will be the only one in its lifespan. This uncertainty may increase how many Call of Duty fans are clambering to earn Double XP for the Battle Pass this weekend.
