A skilled jeweler and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time super fan creates an incredible recreation of the Kokiri Emerald, one of the Spiritual Stones.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is one of the most popular games in the entire franchise, and it gets a lot of attention from fans and artists alike as a result. Redditor Ryan56k is the most recent craftsman to leave their mark on the fandom with an incredible recreation of the Kokiri Emerald. As a jeweler, they cut and set the stone used for the craft themselves. Many of the other details found in this work of art can also be contributed to Ryan56k's impressive work. This piece of art is particularly interesting because the Kokiri Emerald doesn't get as much of a spotlight as icons like the Master Sword, the Triforce, or even other Spiritual Stones.

For those that may not be familiar with it, the Kokiri Emerald is one of three Spiritual Stones found in Ocarina of Time. In order to open the Door of Time, Link must collect all three of these stones and then play the Song of Time on his Ocarina. The first of the three stones that players find is the Kokiri Emerald, so although most players have probably gotten this item even if they didn't beat the whole game, it can be easy to forget.

Ryan56k clearly didn't want it to be forgotten, though, as it has now been brought to life in the real world thanks to their hard work. Curiously, the stone used here actually isn't an emerald, as they instead opted to cut a peridot. Much like the emerald, the peridot can display a brilliant green color, but it tends to be more subtle and versatile. Ryan56k explains in response to one comment that they love peridot more with each stone they cut.

Ryan56k elaborates more that this stone is set in a pendant modeled to look like the golden pieces around the Kokiri Emerald. Admittedly, it can be somewhat difficult to tell what the gold is supposed to look like in the Nintendo 64 version, but more recent versions of the game give players a better look at this stone. After obtaining it from the inside of the Deku Tree by defeating Queen Gohma, players are already one third of the way through their quest.

Fans are impressed by Ryan56k's work, with many offering suggestions for what they should do next. One fan suggests trying to make Kokiri Emerald earrings, while others want to see the rest of the Spiritual Stones made into pendants or other forms of jewelry.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is available now on N64.
