Be it through typical means or glitching inside, World of Warcraft players all want to know how to get inside this area of the map.

The Vault of Secrets is the newest addition to Shadowlands at the southern tip of Korthia. It is a small island that can be reached by riding the transporter. Most of Blizzard's plans for the small island in Korthia have still yet to be unveiled.

However, there are a few things that we know about the Vault of Secrets so far. While it may not be the most exciting zone at the moment, players are able to explore it, as well as encounter a rare enemy. This guide will help curious gamers reach and explore the island.

Much of the zone is, well, secret. Blizzard has kept a large portion of the area under a time wall. This means that the majority of the content will be hidden until the Vault of Secrets is officially unveiled. There is still no word as to when that will be and there is not much much information about the new features in the area. Regardless, gamers can reach the new portion of the map by riding the transporter at (60.75, 28.59).

For the transporter to appear, players will need to complete the storyline mission "To The Vault". The quest is picked up from an NPC named Tal-Galan (34.85, 35.07). The quest was only available in the PTR, but may be available to users by the time this article is published. Otherwise, the only other option is to glitch across.

The transporter will drop the character at the main island at the center of the new zone. When people are finished exploring, they can use the transporter to travel back to mainland Korthia.

Anyone that has not progressed far enough in the questline to use the transporter can glitch their way in. The easiest method is by gliding across and reviving from the Vault graveyard. It is certainly possible that the character will just die and not spawn across at the Vault.

There is a path to the right on the cliffside (when facing the Vault of Secrets) that people can use to make their way across. On the cliffside, there are a number of rocky obstacles gamers can use to hop their way over. Any character can follow along the cliffside to one of the adjacent islands, but it will take more determination than just gliding to one's death.

As of June 10, there is not a lot of desirable items on the island. It is currently populated by non-rare enemies that roam around. Gamers that explore the area thoroughly will come across a couple of chests if they look around. There is also a rare 300 research item toward the back of the traversable island. Surely, there are a few other things that have yet to be uncovered, as it has only been a week or so since gamers started to explore the Vault.

Those that have the Rift Key can access the area inside of the structure denoted by the two blue torches. The area is south of where the Transporter will land. The rare elite that spawns there will be difficult to solo unless the player is a self healer. It has a lot of health and powerful attacks, so only people with upgraded gear will want to attempt fighting the creature. Apart from that, there is not much else on the island of note.

Players do not officially know exactly when the Vault of Secrets content will be available. However, we can assume the date based on prior updates. There has been an average of at least 200 days between major updates over the past three years, so one can presume that will be the case with 9.1. The Vault of Secrets is going to be one of the bigger content drops to bridge the gap between 9.1 and 9.2.

By this logic, players will have to wait at least a month for the new area to open up. Blizzard are going to have to delay content to keep the game fresh until 9.2, which may be the final patch before update 10.
