Taking down the Assault Supply Carriage in World of Warcraft is an adventure. Here's a look at how to get it done.

The Assault Supply Carriage is one of the new features added in the Shadowlands 9.1 update. The challenge is a part of the Conquering Korthia achievement. Anyone that slays all 28 rare creatures will be rewarded with 10 Achievement Points, as well as The Bracelet Of Salarangor.

These challenges are still relatively new, and a lot of people are having trouble completing them. The Assault Supply Carriage will lead gamers to the Carriage Crusher, one of the rare elites that needs to be slain to finish Conquering Korthia. Players can follow this guide to activate the carriage and kill the Carriage Crusher.

Finding the carriage will not be an issue. It spawns in at (58.24, 17.99) in Korthia. This is the area just to the southwest of Keeper's Rest. Simply click the carriage to jump in. However, a lot of players are running into an issue where the carriage does not move. At times, the carriage will sit still for up to an hour, or not move at all. While there is no clear source or fix for the issue, waiting will sometimes get the carriage to set off.

Perhaps the Assault Supply Carriage is on a timer that prevents it from making trips at certain times, but for now it is unclear. There is still no word from Blizzard as to whether the carriage glitch is a fixable bug or if the delays are intentional. Those having trouble should try to wait for a while. Also, if readers are having trouble with the carriage, pressing F6 will draw more attention to the issue. Hopefully Blizzard fixes the problem sometime soon.

The next step in the challenge is to enjoy the ride to the rare boss. Wicklick will be the Coachman-in-training escorting passengers across the Shadowlands. He will steer the carriage all the way into the Maw. Mr. Wicklick will make a pit stop at Ravener's Lament (62.83, 67.07). There, three Anima Starved Defectors will appear. They will be disposed of almost instantly if a few players are along for the ride.

A few other enemies will spawn in, but people should try to get back on the wagon before Wicklick sets off again. He will notify the party by saying that the repairs are complete. Anyone that misses the bus can hop on their mount and follow the carriage to the next stop.

Wicklick will make yet another stop at (54.09, 62.35) in Desmotaeron. Three Anima-Crazed Stygia spawn. After defeating them, the ride continues. Finally, the carriage will happen upon the Carriage Crusher (46.20, 56.56). It is not exactly the most creative name for a mission boss, but it is new content nonetheless. The Carriage Crusher has a fair amount of health, but he poses no more of a threat than the rare mobs on Korthia. A handful of characters with decent gear will be able to take him down in a few minutes.

The Carriage Crusher drops some good loot, but more often than not the items will be disposable. The challenge is intended to be repeated a few times, so most people will not get desirable loot the first time around. Wicklick will continue on to the final stop in Crucible of the Damned (23.47, 40.34). Mawsworn Regulators will swarm the carriage as it arrives, but they are no match for high-level characters.

In total, the journey from Korithia to Crucible of the Damned will take about ten minutes. This depends on how fast the Carriage Crusher is killed, of course. Sadly, the rewards for the quest are bugged at times too. Those that get the rewards will receive ~70 Stygia and 100 reputation. Because the rewards are given after the Carriage Crusher is defeated, there is no need to ride all the way to the end.

As to whether the activity is worth the effort, well, that depends. Players that intend on completing the Conquering Korthia challenges will have to finish the objective to unlock the rewards. For the rest of the player base, the rewards are a little disappointing. This is certainly true for those that end up having to wait 30 minutes to an hour for the carriage to start its journey.

Spending more than an hour for trash loot and Stygia is far from ideal. The mission is easy, and who knows, the Carriage Crusher could drop a rare item for once. Overall, Wicklick's commentary is the most exciting part of the mission, and that should say something.
