12 Aries - Damocles (March 21 - April 19)

Aries are known for their sometimes explosive anger and no character represents that trait better than Tohru's father Damocles. As parents, those with the ram sign are often loving and devoted to their children, but overly protective and punitive.

This fits Damocles perfectly as he comes to the human world and is prepared to literally magically duel his daughter in order to bring her back. This may appear on the surface as simply mean hotheadedness, but it comes from a place of love.

11 Taurus - Makoto Takiya (April 20 - May 20)

Dependable and hardworking are traits that describe both Makoto and Tauruses perfectly. Makoto is always there for Kobayashi whether at work or when she asks him to take in Fafnir during the series without question. He even takes on extra responsibilities at their job so she can attend the sports festival for Kanna.

Tauruses are also known for being set in their ways which makes sense with Makoto's otaku lifestyle and his fiercely held opinions on maids and cosplay.

10 Gemini - Elma Joui (May 21 - June 20)

Gemini are often known for being indecisive and no Dragon Maid character fits that description better than Elma. She's often seen struggling to decide which flavors of foods, cakes, or ice creams to purchase.

The impulsive nature often seen in Geminis is also shown in Elma as she often overspends on these delectable treats and then lacks enough money to get through the rest of the month. It also explains why she came to the human world without coming up with a plan on how to get back, leaving her stuck there permanently.

9 Cancer - Illulu (June 21 - July 22)

When Illulu first appeared in Miss Kobayashi Dragon Maid S, he looked like nothing more than a vindictive force of nature against Tohru as she was disgusted by her relationship with a human. These kinds of powerful emotions are easily associated with Cancers.

However, Cancers are also known for being caring and protective which is visible by how often Illulu is babysitting and caring for Kanna during the series. While she may be a bit moody at times, she still cares and tries her best to fit into human society.

8 Leo - Tohru Kobayashi (July 23 - August 22)

Leos are known for being strong, brave, and determined while still having a warm and passionate side. There's no better character that exhibits these traits than Tohru. She is literally willing to fight her father and other powerful dragons despite the odds against her all for her love of Kobayashi.

When she first enters the human world, she is determined to be the best at everything she does and absolutely dominate in all tasks she takes on, something Leos can surely identify with.

7 Virgo - Fafnir (August 23 - September 22)

Fafnir is highly critical and incredibly stubborn as evidenced by how he tackles video games when initially introduced to them, both traits Virgos are well known for. His pickiness with food (his curry must always be mild) is also something seen often in Virgos.

He doesn't just embody their negative traits however. Fafnir also creates a book of curses to sell at Comiket showing his hard-working and creative side as well.

6 Libra - Georgie Saikawa (September 23 - October 22)

Libras thrive on making things orderly and Georgie's desire to be a maid exemplifies this. Her dedication to the maid aesthetic gives her a deep sense of tact empathy as well, traits often carried by Libras.

While it may be silly, the balanced nature of her clothing, from her duel red pigtails to her perfectly symmetrical clothes, suits the sign of scales perfectly.

5 Scorpio - Riko Saikawa (October 23 - November 21)

Scorpios are best known for their extreme levels of passion which is impossible not to compare with Riko's feelings for Kanna. Her intensity is shown often in the series whether it's during a dodgeball match against older kids or competing at the sports festival.

Scorpios can be fiercely loyal but also incredibly jealous. Riko's extreme dedication to Kanna alongside her reactions whenever it looks like someone else might be getting the young dragon's attention fit this description to a T.

4 Sagittarius - Kanna Kamui (November 22 - December 21)

Sagittarians are known for their curiosity and desire to try new things. It's hard to think of a fit better than Kanna who not only wants to experience what school is like but is constantly shown trying everything from crabs to random bugs just to see how they taste throughout the series.

She's often incredibly kind though still a little stubborn like when she tries everything she can to get Kobayashi to come to the sports festival but eventually is understanding when it looks like she initially can't attend.

3 Capricorn - Miss Kobayashi (December 22 - January 19)

Kobayashi is hard-working and ambitious at work although she's a bit pessimistic about life when the series begins. These are all traits associated with Capricorns. Still, her deep sense of responsibility is what leads her to take in Tohru after promising her a home to live in and making sure all of the other dragons have a place to stay in the series.

Plus, her downright immovable position on how maids should be and act shows a bit of the stubbornness often seen in those with the goat sign.

2 Aquarius - Quetzalcoatl (January 20 - February 18)

Free-spirited and sometimes a bit oblivious, Quetzalcoatl and Aquarians have a lot in common. Her general sense of nonconformity shows in how she was removed from godhood after drinking cursed liquor she should have never been trying in the first place and her unique fashion sense. Her almost absurdly carefree nature is something any Aquarian knows well in their own lives.

1 Pisces - Shouta Magatsuchi (February 19 - March 20)

Known for their somewhat cry-baby natures and a lack of spine, Pisces are a bit like Shouta — especially with how he interacts with Quetzalcoatl. While being a bit over-emotional, he's also creative and rather brilliant, showing knowledge of arcane arts and being able to actually use them at an incredibly young age.

He also plays an amazing magical girl in the strange production of "The Little Match Girl" showing how he's more than willing to think outside the box like any Pisces would.
