The Sims 4 allows players to build any life they wish for their Sims. This includes everything from building the perfect Sims Cottagecore house to having as many babies per family as a player might want. While getting a Sim pregnant in the game is fairly easy, ensuring that the Sim will conceive two babies is much more difficult.

In order for a family to have babies in The Sims 4, they will need a romantic partner of the correct sex to conceive. Players can also adopt children in the game for their Sims. However, if someone wants their Sim to have twins or even triplets naturally in their game, there are a couple of steps that they can take to make it more likely that twins or even triplets will be born.

There is a small chance that any pregnancy in The Sims 4 will end up with twins; the odds of having twins is about 10% while the odds for triplets is about 1%. But just like players can influence the chances of having a boy or a girl baby, they can also up the chances of multiple births too. There are three methods of raising those numbers and get those twins.

• Players can buy a Fertile Reward, available in the Rewards Store for 3,000 points.
• In the Spa Day Game Pack, players can get a Fertility Massage from a Spa.
• Also in the Spa Day Game Pack, raise a Sim's wellness skill until they can give Massages, then have them give the Sim that wants twins a Fertility Massage. Players will need to own a massage table for this to be an option.

At the moment, these are the only things that players can do in The Sims 4 to raise their chances of having Sim twins or triplets unless they want to enable cheats.

In order to cheat a Sim into having two, three, four, five, or even six babies all at once, cheats will have to be enabled in The Sims 4. After a Sim is pregnant, grab the Sim's ID with their first and last name. This can be obtained by typing in:

• sims.get_sim_id_by_name firstname lastname

After that, force the additional babies by using this cheat:

• pregnancy.force_offspring_count SIM ID NUMBER OF BABIES
• Example: pregnancy.force_offspring_count 1341302010235 5 would force Sim ID 1341302010235 to have 5 babies all at once.

If players have used this cheat, it's best to let the pregnancy take up the natural amount of in-game time to complete. Stacking the pregnancy speed cheat on top of the multiple births cheat can cause issues in the game. That said, pregnancy mods in The Sims 4 should work fine with this cheat.
