Pokemon GO's nefarious Team GO Rocket leaders are rotating their Pokemon rosters again, which means players need to adjust their strategies.

Pokemon GO players are in for a surprise challenge over the next few weeks now that the Team GO Rocket leaders seem to have once again rotated to a new lineup of fighters to help ring in the Team GO Rocket Celebration weeklong event. Players around the globe have started reporting the changes, so it is time to prepare for a new lineup of challengers.

Encountering Team GO Rocket leaders in Pokemon GO is a great way for trainers to get some practice in against very challenging lineups and earn some powerful shadow rewards. All of the leaders are very beatable for players who are using the right -type match ups, but the fights can be incredibly challenge and resource intensive for players who go in blind. This new rotation means that challengers will need to rethink their rosters for a few of the big fights.

Just like in the past, the arrival of a new Team GO Rocket event has caused a shakeup in the roster for all of the team leaders. That means that Arlo, Sierra, and Cliff all have fresh rosters and trainers are going to want to study the possible lineups before diving into the battles. These fights can be particularly difficult, especially since the second and third defender are always a bit of a coin toss, so preparing the ideal counter roster is crucial to saving resources and time. Knowing what each boss can potentially throw into the battle is a big advantage, so trainers should be sure to take some time to study all of these options before heading into the fight.

First Pokemon: Beldum

Second Pokemon: Gardevoir or Infernape or Aggron

Third Pokemon: Armaldo or Salamence or Scizor

First Pokemon: Aerodactyl

Second Pokemon: Gallade or Cradilly or Slowking

Third Pokemon: Dusknoir or Mamoswine, or Tyranitar

First Pokemon: Carvanha

Second Pokemon: Hippowdon or Porygon-Z or Mismagius

Third Pokemon: Flygon or Houndoom or Walrein

The new Rocket leader lineups look pretty tough and players will want to make sure to carefully plan their rosters before heading into the big fights. Don't forget to use some Stardust to power up the correct Pokemon and don't be afraid to burn a few TMs to get the right move sets in place for the challenge.

Over the next week or so players should begin to learn a lot more about what other events are on the way in February. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
