Popular Twitch streamer Michael Grzesiek, also known as Shroud, admits he has no plans to retire from his career unless fans stop watching him.

Over the years, streaming platforms such as Twitch have produced its fair share of celebrities. People such as Ninja have become huge stars in their own rights and the likes of Shroud are in a position where they can offer real advice to newcomers on the scene. As these streamers' popularity only seems to be growing, building successful careers for themselves, it's understandable that most would not want to give up this lifestyle just yet, as the latter content creator recently admitted.

According to a source, Shroud, who's real name is Michael Grzesiek, has said that he has no plans to retire from Twitch any time soon, effectively saying that he would like to keep streaming for as long as he can. He has said that as long as fans continue to watch his videos, he sees no reason why he would want to give up his channel, adding that he could easily see himself streaming for at least another ten to fifteen years, "maybe more."

With around 9.3 million followers on his channel, Shroud is one of the biggest gamers on the streaming site. He is most associated with popular titles such as CS:GO, World of Warcraft, as well as streaming Valorant. While he says he wishes to continue streaming for many years to come, even if he does eventually retire from Twitch, he admits that he could easily see himself still playing games when he's in his 80s, jokingly adding that he would "need a nurse" to help him but would still keep gaming.

A few months ago, fans became concerned about Shroud when he ended an eleven-hour streamer rather abruptly. A report indicates that at some point towards the end of the broadcast, he began to stare blankly at the screen for several minutes. The incident caused fans in the chat to show concern, asking if he was okay. It's entirely possible that streaming for eleven straight hours may have had an effect on him, but the whole incident at the time seemed to worry a lot of viewers.

As of now, Shroud seems content to carry on as normal. Despite Twitch's notorious stance when it comes to banning users, such as Adin Ross, it's still a massively used platform that many streamers can create content for and, in some cases, generate a huge following and an income to match. No doubt many of Michael's fans will be pleased he's sticking around.
