Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies’ latest crate easter egg sees players fighting waves of the undead on a well-hidden dance floor.

The latest Survival map in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War sees players fighting the undead in 1980s Berlin. While the story and tone of Mauer Der Toten is dark and serious to match this setting, the latest crate easter egg in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies provides some levity.

The humorous quest mirrors the crate easter eggs from past maps, with players getting a special chest full of rewards for completing it. While the demonic bunny from Firebase Z’s crate quest does feature prominently in this new side mission, the tone is much closer to that of the Coffin Dance from Die Maschine. For those looking to collect an extra reward, here is how to reach the night club and complete Mauer Der Toten’s Disco Bunny quest.

The first step of the Disco Bunny quest sees players searching the map for six pieces of the blue bunny. Fortunately, the pieces stay in the same positions, meaning that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players only need to memorize a single set of areas for this easter egg. The locations for the bunny pieces are as follows.

  • Bunny Head - Alley: In the Alley to the left of the Garment Factory, a stack of tires can be found. The tires are directly to the right of the zipline, and the bunny's head rests up against them.
  • Bunny Body - Department Store: The Department can be found store is to right of the Trials Machine, and the bunny's body is seen on a shelf next to the Wunderfizz.
  • Bunny Arm 1 - Sewer Access: The first bunny arm is seen in the Sewer Access area. As soon as players come down the stairs into this room, the arm will be found up against a wooden palette on their left.
  • Bunny Arm 2 - Hotel Room 304: On top of a wooden table with a green countertop. It is in the corner of the room.
  • Bunny Leg 1 - Bar: The first bunny leg can be found on a booth to the left of the Juggernog machine.
  • Bunny Leg 2 - Grocery Store: Gamers can find the second bunny leg by heading to the grocery store. Specifically, it is on the back shelf of the divider that holds a wall buy for the KSP 45 SMG.

Much like the previous crate quest, players will teleport to an area of the map that is inaccessible apart from this easter egg. However, instead of a dark Vietnamese forest, they will end up in a colorful night club covered in blue bunny lights. The bunny itself will be seen at a DJ booth, with tons of Zombies partying on the dance floor. However, while they will initially be dancing like they do in the Coffin Dance easter egg, they will attack as soon as the bass drops.

Players will need to survive three waves of these attacks, with brief bouts of dancing happening in between so that players can reposition. Harder mini bosses will come on each wave, with Mimics and Disciples attacking before a Megaton eventually spawns in. If players survive, the bunny will reward them with three prize rooms. Only one can be opened, however, with players getting a random chest behind their door of choice. These will vary in quality, and players will get a special Calling Card if they pick the room with the best reward crate. With the CRBR-S being a possible drop from these crates, this memorable quest is worth doing in every match.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
