Pokemon GO Fest 2021: How to Complete Jungle Habitat Collection Challenge

The Jungle Collection Challenge requires players to hunt down ten specific Pokemon during the Pokemon GO Fest's Jungle Habitat Hour.

Players who've purchased a ticket to participate in the Pokemon GO Fest 2021 are able to take part in many different tasks and challenges. Some of these challenges include the four collection challenges available for the first day of the event.

All of the collection challenges for this event in Pokemon GO are themed around the habitat hours occurring throughout the first day. Players who have bought event tickets will have from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on July 17th in their local times to complete these challenges as they will not able available on the second day.

Like all of these habitat collection challenges, the Jungle Collection Challenge requires players to find and catch ten specific Pokemon. It does not matter if players have caught these Pokemon before, as they must be caught during the active hours of Pokemon GO Fest 2021 to count toward the challenge. The hours where the Jungle Habitat will be the active habitat are 00:00 UTC, 4:00 UTC, 8:00 UTC, 12:00 UTC, 16:00 UTC, 20:00 UTC, and 0:00. No one location will have access to all of these hours however due to the event's proper time limit.

All ten of the Pokemon required for the Jungle Collection Challenge can be normally found in the overworld map as encounter while the Jungle Habitat Hour is active. The specific Pokemon that are needed for this challenge are:

  • Snivy
  • Ekans
  • Slakoth
  • Chimchar
  • Lotad
  • Croagunk
  • Scyther
  • Tangela
  • Aipom
  • Chespin

While they will be appearing normally, players are recommended to use Incense and a Lure Module to maximize the amount of Pokemon possible in the overworld. This will make it much easier to find the exact Pokemon needed in order to complete the challenge, especially with the active times of Lure Modules being increased to three hours during the Pokemon GO Fest. Those that use Incense can additionally increase the likelihood of certain rare Pokemon appearing during the Jungle Habitat Hour. They aren't needed for the collection challenge, but they are definitely worth catching. These Pokemon are Ludicolo, Chatot, Leafeon, and Serperior.

Out of all these Pokemon, Chatot is likely one that many players haven't caught yet. That is because Chatot is normally a region exclusive Pokemon to places such as India, Thailand, and Vietnam. Because of this, those wanting to collect every available Pokemon are highly recommended to additionally be on the lookout for Chatot while attempting to complete the Jungle Collection Challenge. There is no telling for when it will appear overseas again, so this opportunity shouldn't be wasted.
