One Final Fantasy 7 fan creates an incredible 3D printed wall decoration depicting the game's logo, featuring flickering lights and sharp detail.

Final Fantasy 7 is one of the most popular and iconic JRPGs in gaming history, considered by many fans to be a competitor for the title of the best video game of all time. Now, one fan has taken the equally iconic logo of Final Fantasy 7 and brought it to life in full 3D printed glory.

Over the years since its original release, a large number of fans have worked to bring the game's characters and weapons to life, including one fan who took to the 3D printer and made PS1-style polygonal figures of Final Fantasy 7 characters. It may not be a surprise to hear that another fan has printed off an incredible glowing replica of the Final Fantasy 7 logo and hung it on their wall.

This isn't the first time Redditor drepicgames has hung up a replica of Final Fantasy 7's iconic blue-green meteor logo on their garage wall, but the previous one was cut out with a jigsaw. The new one the artist is now showing off on Reddit was 3D printed and features both sharp detail and flickering lights. Drepicgames shared a 24-second-long video showcasing the logo's light. Looking at it may not provoke the same adrenaline rush as a real version of Cloud's Buster Sword, but watching the logo glimmer could be considered magical.

The response to this piece has been both warm and full of determination, as many of the comments are users requesting information on the lighting set-up, project documentation, and even the 3D printer STL file. In response, drepicgames has uploaded both the STL file and some detailed step-by-step instructions explaining how they were able to construct this shining decoration. While it appears that the full project cost them around $100--significantly more than another Final Fantasy 7 fan paid for antique merch at Goodwill--several other users have expressed a desire to make a Final Fantasy logo to light up their own homes.

Some users have shared plans to create physical versions of the logos from Final Fantasy 9 and Final Fantasy 10. Drepicgames shared their thoughts on the proposed projects by cautioning that the Final Fantasy 9 logo contains several sharp corners and the LED strips don't flex well. They also cautioned that the Final Fantasy 10 logo would have to be very large to allow viewers to make out Yuna's facial features. While some fans could be willing to put in the effort to create a 6-foot Final Fantasy logo, other fans use different mediums to celebrate classic moments. One such Final Fantasy 7 Remake fan chose to cosplay Wall Market Aerith--specifically, Wall Market Aerith right about to hit someone with a chair.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is out now for PS4 and PS5.
