Destruction AllStars is now available for subscribers of PlayStation Plus, but players are having trouble muting unwanted noises.

Destruction AllStars is now available for the PS5 as a free download for PS Plus subscribers and it brings with it some explosive vehicular combat and multiplayer mayhem. Being that it is an online-focused game, players can choose to use voice chat to communicate and express their emotions while a match is happening. However, some players might find this feature annoying, so here's a guide all about how to mute players in Destruction All-Stars.

For those that are trying out Destruction AllStars for the first time and would like to mute other players to play the game peacefully, then make sure to follow these steps. Unfortunately, the option is not within the game itself and players will need to access a different menu. Once players are put into a lobby with other players, they will want to press the home button on the PS5 Dualsense controller.

Pressing that button will show players different cards related to Destruction All-Stars and the first one on the left is the one that handles voice chat options. On this tile, players can press the Square button to mute the entire voice chat lobby. There is currently no way to mute individual players, so this method is the one way for now.

Gamers can also press the X button on this tile to select other options related to voice chat, such as a slider that controls voice chat volume and a setting to enable chat transcriptions. And if people don't want their own voice to be heard in the lobby, then they can press the small button underneath the Dualsense home button to mute themselves. If the little orange light is on, that means that the player's voice is muted. Alternatively, players can leave the light off to speak to other players in the lobby.

For those that are currently subscribed to PS Plus, make sure to also add Control: Ultimate Edition to your game library from the PlayStation Store, as that title is also available for free for the month of February. As for the previous month, Sony put out Greedfall, Maneater, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Subscribers were able to download them in January, but unfortunately, the last day to grab these was on February 1st, so if anyone missed them, better luck next time.

For more information on the game, here's what players need to know regarding Destruction AllStars' file size.

Destruction AllStars is available exclusively for the PlayStation 5.
