Back 4 Blood gets a new trailer revealing the array of features coming to its PC port, including uncapped frame rates, NVIDIA DLSS, and more.

Hitting shelves this Fall, Back 4 Blood is shaping up to be the long-requested sequel to Left 4 Dead that fans have been anticipating for years, pitting four players against hordes of undead foes. Although the game will be coming to PlayStation and Xbox – and will even be available on Game Pass the day it launches – it seems one of the best ways to enjoy the new shooter will be on PC, with Turtle Rock Studios releasing a new trailer all about the port.

The new clip covers what PC players can expect when jumping into Back 4 Bloodand it seems they'll have plenty of options to help tailor-fit their experience with the game. For one, players will be able to enjoy the shooter in 4K with uncapped frame rates, providing a highly customizable visual experience. Players can see the game's high resolution and limitless frame rate in action during the trailer, with all of its footage captured on a PC.

Other features include NVIDIA DLSS support, which allows players to boost their frame rate using upscaling technology. The software has started cropping up in various games over the last few months, including Red Dead Redemption 2, F1 2021, and Rust. There are also options for various screen setups, including ultrawide and multi-monitor support.

Turtle Rock clarifies that there will be a ton of more specific customization options included too, briefly showcasing a long list of graphical settings that players can use to finetune their time with Back for Blood. They'll also be able to jump into games with their friends over on PlayStation and Xbox, with the trailer noting that crossplay will be included.

Back 4 Blood isn't too far away now, with the cooperative zombie shooter slated to make its debut on October 12. The game will see players hop into the shoes of one of several "cleaners," who are survivors tasked with battling back against the legions of the undead. Although early glimpses at the game seem to suggest it plays very similarly to Left 4 Dead, there will be noticeable additions, including colossal zombie mini-bosses that players will have to team up against to take down. As for what players will get up to, there will be both a standard co-op campaign, seeing players conquer story missions while battling AI enemies, as well as a PVP multiplayer mode known as Swarm. The latter will see players take on the role of either a cleaner or an infected, with both teams battling it out using a range of abilities.

Back 4 Blood is slated to hit PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on October 12.
