Call of Duty: Warzone loadout expert NICKMERCS reveals a special class that players who make use of the Overkill perk should be trying out.

Call of Duty: Warzone features no shortage of perks for players to try out, and one of the most widely used is Overkill. As such, loadout expert NICKMERCS has showcased a class that is built specifically with this Call of Duty: Warzone perk in mind.

While not nearly as controversial as Call of Duty: Warzone’s Dead Silence perk, Overkill is a powerful option that most fans of the battle royale game make use of. For those unfamiliar with the perk, it allows players to use a primary weapon in the secondary slot. As such, weapons like pistols and launchers can be swapped out with another SMG, LMG, or Assault Rifle. For NICKMERCS and other pro players, this perk is usually used to make a loadout with a close-range gun and long-range gun, and this Overkill class is no different.

NICKMERCS uses the C58 Assault Rifle and the MAC-10 SMG as his primary and secondary weapons. He describes the two weapons as “undefeatable” in his video, with the C58 being the “only” primary weapon players should be using right now. As for the MAC-10, NICKMERCS does admit that there are options, specifically citing the Bullfrog SMG and MP5 from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. According to the pro player, though, the MAC-10 remains at the “top of the mountain” in his eyes.

NICKMERCS’ C58 loadout begins with the Agency Suppressor, a favorite attachment of the FaZe co-owner. The 18.5” Task Force Barrel is also used, while the Underbarrel slot is filled by the Field Agent Grip. With these attachments making the gun more accurate, NICKMERCS adds a STANAG 55 Rnd magazine that will also keep players firing. Finally, he recommends the Royal and Kross 4x Optic. However, those expecting to see the sight’s broken recoil effect are out of luck, as Raven has nerfed the attachment. As such, players more comfortable with the Axial Arms 3x scope should use that instead.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 18.5” Task Force
  • Optic: Royal and Kross 4x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: STANAG 55 Rnd

With the ranged weapon covered, players should then work on matching NICKMERCS’ MAC-10 setup. He once again uses the Agency Suppressor for this build, with the 5.9” Task Force Barrel equipped alongside it. The Patrol Grip helps manage recoil, while the STANAG 53 Rnd Drum provides a significant boost to the gun’s ammo capacity. With the Raider Stock adding some movement speed, the loadout allows the gun to really shine in close quarters situations. While it is not as dominant as it was back in Season 1, the gun clearly still gets the job done based on NICKMERCS’ gameplay.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 5.9” Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Patrol Grip
  • Ammunition: STANAG 53 Rnd Drum
  • Stock: Raider Stock

For Call of Duty: Warzone players unsure of what class to use, this Overkill setup should prove to be effective. With the C58 covering ranged fights and the MAC-10 shredding up close, gamers should be able to get “high kill” matches like NICKMERCS.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
