Pokemon Unite players can battle wild Pokemon like Zapdos, Rotom, or Drednaw in order to secure buffs for their entire team, but there are also two Pokemon that provide personal buffs to whichever player takes them down first. These jungle buffs as they are called can really make a player into a powerhouse, helping them to win fights they might have lost otherwise or even turn the tide of a team battle. Unfortunately, the built in tutorial doesn't teach players about jungle buffs, despite how useful they can be in any Unite Battle.
These two buffs come from Ludicolo and Bouffilant, both of whom spawn at set locations. Unlike Pokemon Unite's trio of powerful wild Pokemon mentioned earlier, they are relatively weak and can be defeated solo without much of a problem. There are also two of each Pokemon, with one being found on either side of the map, making it much less likely that players will run into the opposing team. Both Pokemon spawn in the alcoves just outside of the player's home base.

Defeating Bouffilant rewards the player with the Orange jungle buff. This makes it so that the Pokemon's attacks reduce the target's movement speed for a short while. This can be incredibly useful against targets that are attempting to flee, especially if the player is a Speedster type Pokemon or has ranged attacks. The only move Bouffilant has that players might want to watch out for a is a tackle. This takes time to charge up and only hits in a straight line in front of Bouffilant, so it is easy enough to avoid.
Defeating Ludicolo rewards the player with the Purple jungle buff. This makes it so that the Pokemon's attacks deal extra damage to wild Pokemon that are low health. This can be helpful when trying to take out Bouffilant or farm Aeos Energy, but is especially useful if the player snags it before they fight Zapdos, Rotom, or Drednaw.
These buffs are powerful, and players will want to keep an eye on enemies to see if they have either of them active. For player to player combat, Bouffilant's buff is particularly devastating, as it will make it much more difficult to escape. Both Bouffilant and Ludicolo respawn fairly frequently as well, so don't be afraid to dip into the center area to take one or both of them down from time to time.
