Human: Fall Flat is an off the wall game that requires a lot of thought and consideration from it's players. These are the easiest and hardest levels.

There are few games out there that have perfected the art of making players laugh out loud and think carefully at the same time. One of them is Human: Fall Flat, a Curve Digital platforming and puzzle game that uses advanced physics to present the player with tough problems they have to figure out as they traverse through each level.

The levels referred to as "dreams" in the game have their own unique setting and challenges that make them all worth playing. But which ones are a breeze to get through? Which ones really leave the player stumped? Here are 15 of the hardest and easiest levels in Human: Fall Flat.

Updated July 23, 2020, by Chris Birsner: With Human: Fall Flat reaching its fifth anniversary, it's worth looking back at how much the game has grown since its initial release. With new levels being added to the game on a constant basis, the developers over at No Brakes Games have been able to keep this game alive for the fan base and are looking to continue to keep adding to the game in the months ahead.  When thinking about some of the best levels in the game, they tend to be the ones that have unique mechanics and satisfying goals. These also tend to be the hardest levels of the game, so it's nice to highlight some of the hard levels that have been there from the beginning and the new levels as well.

10 Power Plant

The "Power Plant" dream is basically a more advanced version of the "Carry" level, throwing in additional methods of activating machinery to achieve access to future parts of the level.

Despite the level being among the hardest, everything about this level is pretty straightforward and the tools needed to complete each level are either right there or don't take much thought. Even the hardest part of the level, driving a dump truck up and down a highway to collect coal, is more tedious than it is challenging.

9 Forest

The newest level added into Human Fall Flat, "Forest" is among the "Extra Dreams" that have been added to the game in recent years. The map seems like it's going to be a wholesome campground until players discover abandoned mines and deadly peaks.

The difficulty in this level comes from the endless hunting down of specific items needed to advance. Another major difficulty point comes when needing to pull a broken airplane, get a minecart through the remains of destroyed rock, and climb along power lines.

8 Castle

"Castle" really ups the difficulty on a platforming front and introduces some new mechanics that show up later in the game. After finding a way out of a few rooms in the castle, the player then gets to play with a catapult, either flinging rocks or a fellow player across a gap.

From there, players must manipulate carriages, a boulder, and other tools in the environment to make their way out of the level. The hardest part of the level is trying to hook a long pole over a gap so it's possible to get across a body of water.

7 Dark

One of three post-release regular levels added to the game, all of which had their own level of difficulty, "Dark" asks the player to chop down a tree, unwind the clock tower and pull a minecart back into a cave just to gain access to the main part of the entire level.

From there, the player will be tasked to find batteries to power an elevator up to the mansion, where they will need to gather electrical supplies to open the exit up from underneath a corpse. This level is very puzzle-heavy for those who prefer those elements of the game.

6 City

Yes, the "City" level takes place in a neon metropolis. However, the real name of this level should have been "Sports." This level is very puzzle-focused, with most of the puzzles focusing on some sort of athletic activity. This includes bowling, archery, and basketball.

This level can be hard for some of the timing needed to complete the puzzles. Beyond that, the final minutes of this level can be brutal as players will need to learn how to properly ride a drone around the city to unlock the exit.

5 Water

Moving objects by themselves is one thing. Driving objects is another. "Water" introduces the concept of mobile vehicles in the game, specifically boats, and if the player is with friends, it may not be too bad.

But trying to get a sailboat from one shoreline to another is no easy task. How about a massive ship as well? The level also involves using a crane to lift cargo, riding a box down a canal, and using a chairlift to open up a dam on top of a mountain.

4 Aztec

The original final level of Human: Fall Flat, the "Aztec" level really makes the player use everything they've learned thus far and put it to good use. The start is even relatively difficult, needing to use two sticks to move big pieces of rock. The player will then need to use a box to traverse a large scale with two cages on either end.

The level includes some moving random objects in the environment in order to progress forward and a really intense parkour section. But the hardest part of the level is riding a giant boulder down a large slope in order to land perfectly at the bottom.

3 Steam

Dealing with pipes in real life has always been a challenge, and Human: Fall Flat isn't going to make it easier either. The early parts of "Steam" require the player to fling themselves to get started and do some pipework to activate a door.

The level as a whole incorporates many elements of "Demolition," only with not as much destruction and a lot more precise placement of objects as the level goes on. The ending of this level is one of the more wild finishes to any dream played thus far, so it's worth getting through the worst of it.

2 Thermal

"Thermal" was the first of the Extra Dreams added to the game and the impossible nature around some of the challenges seemed at first to set the tone of the extra dreams to come, but not one of the newer levels has reached this level of difficulty.

Some of the highlights include moving a giant snowball to go up an elevator and then down a mountain, trying to activate a giant drill, manipulating volcanic vents on the ground, and using a minecart to swing underneath the level to some ice parkour that alone is rather difficult to nail.

1 Ice (Hardest)

This is not your typical ski resort, and in order to navigate the treacherous terrain, the player will need to learn how to use ice blocks to their advantage and hope the sun doesn't melt them first. It's not just moving the ice blocks to the perfect place to get higher up.

It's also making sure that the block remains in some sort of shade so that way it doesn't disappear altogether. And that's only a portion of the level. Get ready to build bridges, create weights, melt important tools out of ice and ride a chairlift to victory.
