Some short new videos of Suda 51's upcoming No More Heroes 3 highlight some of the locations that can be found while travelling Santa Destroy.

No More Heroes 3 is the latest entry in Suda 51's No More Heroes series, and it features Travis Touchdown's grand return to the assassin rank fights. As the game approaches its release next month, fans have been wishing to see what will be available to explore in No More Heroes 3. New videos courtesy of Marvelous Entertainment have provided those answers, showing off what to expect while travelling the open-world.

No More Heroes 3 has the legendary assassin Travis Touchdown compete in a series of ranked fights like previous entries. This time however, he participates in the "Galactic Super Hero Rankings" which has him fighting against all sorts of space aliens. Just last month, extensive gameplay footage was shown during Nintendo's Treehouse Livestream at E3 2021, highlighting the refined hack-and-slash gameplay, a boss fight, and critical moments of playing with Jeane the cat. No footage of the open world was shown during the demonstration, with the exhibition mostly focused on combat. Thanks to these new videos, fans have not only seen travel in the open-world, but some new locations in Santa Destroy as well.

As seen in the game's opening cutscene, Travis has returned to his motel in Santa Destroy, which is his new base of operations during the alien invasion. In one of the videos, Travis can be seen travelling through the streets in his new motorbike, the "Demzamtiger." This would be where some of the side content, described as "Volunteer Missions" according to Suda 51 during the E3 Treehouse livestream would be taking place. The clip then shows a new location, called the "Thunder Dome," which seems to be a Japanese-style arena out in the open-world. It also shows off a possible Fast travel feature, indicated by Travis using his bike to warp to another location in each of the clips.

Some more locations of Santa Destroy were also shown off, one being a peaceful locale called "Perfect World" where Travis is shown exploring a quaint little neighborhood, accompanied by calming piano music. It then shows Travis warping again, this time to a more deserted and war-torn area, called "Call of Battle." The combination of a militaristic battleground, destroyed landscape, and choice of title and logo seems like this location is aping the Call of Duty franchise.

Finally, one of the latest clips that was shown off displayed two more locations. One was called "Neo Brazil," which showed off a sushi stand, similar to the ramen carts in Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes which restore his health. The other was "Damon Tower," an imposing structure that the player can reach. For fans looking to get into this game, they should catch up on all of the previous No More Heroes games first. There are also bonus T-Shirts available to wear in NMH3 if previous NMH save data is detected on the Switch.

No More Heroes 3 launches August 27, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
