A Call of Duty: Warzone fan spots the infamous 'Hacker Skin' in their Gulag match showing the return of the cheat in the battle royale.

Activision has been battling hackers in Call of Duty: Warzone since the game's first season. With every major push from the developers, the hacking problem seems to evolve with new threats and cheats appearing in matches. Recently, a unique hack has reappeared in Call of Duty: Warzone that gives no advantage but immediately catches fans' attention.

Where hackers originally remained hidden, the lack of punishment has caused many to go public with their actions. Call of Duty: Warzone hackers have been caught streaming on Twitch and Facebook Gaming openly, and now some are deliberately making themselves visible in-game. A Call of Duty: Warzone cosmetic hack has returned, highlighting the rise of hackers in the battle royale title.

The Call of Duty: Warzone hack appeared previously as hackers were caught making their own custom Operator skins. While it died down for a time, there seems to be a return of this cheat as Reddit user mhartzzzy spotted a player in the Gulag wearing the infamous skin. The player spotted in the clip is wearing a red and white checkered patterned skin, and as soon as the Gulag fight started, their hacks became evident. The Call of Duty: Warzone fan barely had time to turn the corner before the hacker annihilated them with an active aimbot. The fan promptly reported the player and shared the account name in the comments of the post.

Hackers have been a rising problem within the Call of Duty: Warzone community. New cheats continue to appear, and now it is evident to many fans that old Call of Duty: Warzone hacks are returning to the game. In Call of Duty: Warzone, cheating is a bannable offense, but the developers seem to be struggling to enforce this policy.

The fans in the comments share their own experience with hackers in the game, and many agree that the problem is getting out of hand. While the return of the Call of Duty: Warzone "Hacker Skin" is only a minor problem, aimbots and wallhacks have been spotted by several fans throughout the game in increasing numbers. Despite this, many fans are not shy to point out the fact that the hacker is in the Gulag, making them, at the very least, a killable opponent.

This skin only pushes fans further to request an update to anti-cheat measures within Call of Duty: Warzone. As the number of hacking reports increases, players are leaving the game and taking extended breaks as they wait for a solution from Raven Software.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
