Players will have to look for 'Backstreet Refreshments' on Day 4 of NEO: The World Ends With You, and this guide explains exactly where they are.

NEO: The World Ends With You sees fans return to Shibuya for another round of the Reaper's Game. To survive, Rindo Kanade and his team will have to undergo some unusual trials. Many of the riddles that players must overcome in NEO: The World Ends With You will potentially stump even the wittiest gamers. This guide will help fans get through Day 4 by explaining where to look for "Backstreet Refreshments" in NEO: The World Ends With You.

On Day 4 of the Reaper's Game, the Wicked Twisters are tasked with erasing Ryoji's Noise problem. To get in touch with Ryoji, players will have to solve riddles in an effort to piece together Ryoji's number. Rindo and his friends will also look for Sinful Ramen along the way as part of the hunt. When the time comes to seek Backstreet Refreshments, players might need some help figuring out what the clue actually means.

The backstreet refreshment riddle and all other riddles are discovered via QR code stickers that can be found around town. Gamers can tackle a few side quests while seeking the number for Ryoji's direct line, such as the Quiz or No Quiz quest. When players are ready to look for Backstreet Refreshments, they should head over to Center Street.

A back alley on the east side of Center Street has a row of vending machines that players can interact with. Doing so will prompt a cutscene indicating that the beverage inside is the exact "Backstreet Refreshment" that the clue mentioned.

The player will have to spend 5,000 Yen to purchase the beverage. Fortunately, the party will get their money back after someone drinks the beverage. At the same time, they will be one step closer to figuring out Ryoji's direct line number. Those who don't initially have enough Yen to buy the drink can do a bit of grinding - a common activity in the lengthy playtime for NEO: The World Ends With You.

The events of Day 4 are just one small part of the overall NEO: The World Ends With You experience. Players who get accustomed to the unique style and gameplay early on will have a lot more fun as the game adds more depth in later hours. Quirky characters, tricky side quests, and exciting battles are exactly what gamers can expect as they continue to undergo the Reaper's Game in the alternate reality version of Shibuya in The World Ends With You.

NEO: The World Ends With You is available now for PS4 and Switch. A PC version is currently in development.
