Love him or hate him, Dr Disrespect has certainly made a name for himself in the streaming community. While the popular streamer plays a variety of different games from the FPS genre, a big part of Dr. Disrespect's notoriety comes from his unmistakable appearance. Recently, TimTheTatman decided to cosplay as the Doc during a livestream.
Tim's cosplay of the Doc came together unexpectedly during part of one of his streams where he chats with members of his community. Apparently the idea to dress as Dr. Disrespect came to him after receiving a TimTheTatman Chipotle Supply kit. Amongst the various items included in the box, there was a vest reminiscent of the one worn by the Doc. After leaving the camera for a few moments, Tim returned wearing the vest and a pair of Oakley sunglasses, calling himself "Timmy Tenders." Even though he had a slight resemblance to the actual Dr. Disrespect, fans of the streamer instead began to call him "Dr. Foodrespect" due to the vest's pouches for condiments and utensils.

The Doc apparently approved of this latest attempted cosplay of his gaming persona. In a Twitter reply to TimTheTatman, the real Dr. Disrespect is seen in a stadium surrounded by fans and confetti, seemingly enamored with himself. This harmless banter back and forth between the two streamers is nothing new. They have been close friends for years and often have played games together on stream until Twitch banned Dr. Disrespect from the platform in 2020.
This isn't the first time that streamers have attempted to mimic Dr. Disrespect's iconic look. TSM Viss delivered a surprisingly good rendition of the controversial streamer's appearance. His new look featured the Doc's signature shades, black mullet, and red vest. While TSM Viss' cosplay went well as it was part of a Twitch charity stream, another streamer known as ZLaner, a popular Warzone streamer, was not so fortunate. Shortly after he attempted to don the Doc's iconic sunglasses and mustache, Twitch banned the increasingly popular streamer from competing in a $75,000 Warzone Twitch Rivals tournament.
It's doubtful that Twitch will take any disciplinary action against TimTheTatman, considering his cosplay seemed quite impromptu and didn't resemble the actual person that closely. However, it once again raises the question of what happened between Dr. Disrespect and Twitch that resulted in his ban from the platform. Furthermore, it will be interesting to see if he is allowed to play with other Twitch streamers in the near future.
