Halo Infinite Community Director Brian Jarrard is Tweeting to fans today, hoping to remind beta players that the coming Flight test is a test.

Halo Infinite's release date is inching closer and closer. As the developers prepare for launch, some have taken to Twitter to give players a sneak peak into how the game is currently progressing.

Halo Infinite, the newest of the Halo games, is due out sometime this year. 343 Industries began rolling out invitations to players to try out their Halo Infinite Multiplayer Flight Servers about two days ago, and everyone is eagerly awaiting the servers to open up.

Brian Jarrard, the Community Director at 343 Industries Tweeted today that the development team is hard at work to ensure that the dedicated servers are up and running. He stated that "the team is working through an issue that required rebuilding/re-deploying/re-verifying dedicated servers," ensuring that the Flight demos are as smooth as possible going into beta testing.

In the series of tweets, Jarrard also wanted to remind players that this is a "technical test" and not a release of the game. Bugs, delays, and errors should be expected. He also stated that the number of players could be a massive strain on the Waypoint, as the development team is using the testing as a "scale test." The tweets concluded with asking for patience and the hope that Halo fans would not be angry; given the history of angry video game fans hoping for complete and bug-free playthroughs in betas, his fears are not completely unfounded.

Halo Infinite is due out sometime this year.
