Mustaches. Some people think they're great, others think they're tacky and should have been left behind the 1970s along with bell bottoms and disco. Regardless, they've made a comeback in recent years, and not just with hipsters. But watch out, because as this Loki and Invincible cosplayer shows us, that little hair above your lip might have a mind of its own.
A popular cosplayer named Capt Cash recently uploaded a short video to his Instagram wherein he is overtaken by his mustache and transformed into multiple mustachioed characters. In the video captioned "With Great Mustache Comes Great Responsibility," Capt Cash decides to trim his beard into a stylish mustache. However, after doing this, he is transformed into Agent Mobius, everyone's favorite TVA agent played by Owen Wilson on the recent Disney Plus series Loki.

From there he turns into Green Lantern villain Sinestro, a purple-skinned alien who is set to appear in the upcoming HBO Max Green Lantern series. Sinestro was also featured in the much-maligned Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern film, portrayed by British actor Mark Strong. Finally, Capt Cash changes costume once again and becomes Omni-Man, the chief antagonist from Amazon Prime Video's animated superhero show Invincible. The character, voiced by JK Simmons (who can also rock a sweet mustache), was the father of the show's protagonist Mark Grayson, who hides behind a signature "Dad" mustache so that he can fit in with his seemingly normal suburban home life.
The video ends with Capt Cash regaining control and shaving off his appearance-altering mustache. However, this only leads to him turning into President Loki, one of the many Loki variants from the series. He's even got Alligator Loki chowing down on his hand. If you browse Capt Cash's Instagram you'll be treated to lots of impressive costumes, with and without mustaches. This includes Matt Murdock/ Daredevil from the canceled Netflix series, in addition to costumes from other streaming series like The Witcher and The Boys.
This fun video really helps to illustrate the creativity and ingenuity that cosplayers put into their work. Capt Cash managed to make three totally different and incredibly accurate costumes inspired by his mustache.
It also shows the lengths that many cosplayers will go to replicate their favorite characters, even transforming their daily personal appearance for their art. So, fans should be looking forward to seeing what Capt Cash has in store for viewers this Movember.
Loki is now available on Disney Plus.
