For a limited time only, Xbox gamers can play Battlefield 4 and a few more games for free on Game Pass Ultimate and Live Gold.

So far, August 2021 has been an outstanding month for Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass service, with hit titles such as Hades, Skate, and Dirt 4 being made available. But things are just about to get better, as Free Play Days will allow Xbox Live Gold members to play Battlefield 4 and more games completely free of charge for a limited time.

One of the perks of owning an Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is Xbox Free Play Days. But saving the best for last, EA has also made the critically acclaimed Second Assault DLC free for Battlefield 4 players. Being the second expansion for the first-person shooter, it features new guns and redesigned variants of classic maps. This comes after DICE was forced to add more servers to support the huge spike of players returning to the title.
