Call of Duty: Mobile teases several new weapons that fans are familiar with from the Call of Duty: Black Ops series in a single Twitter post.

The Call of Duty: Mobile developers continue to take fan feedback into serious consideration with every update. This feedback helps drive which weapons, content, and maps they port into the mobile shooter experience. The newest reveal for Call of Duty: Mobile, however, surprised many fans as several popular weapons have officially been announced to be coming into the game.

Call of Duty: Mobile has weapons from several of the franchise's most popular titles. Modern Warfare, Black Ops, and WW2 weapons all have appeared in the game throughout each of the seasonal updates. In a recent tweet, several popular Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 weapons were revealed to be coming to the title very soon.

In a Tweet from the official Call of Duty: Mobile Twitter, the developers shared a screenshot of several upcoming weapons. Fans were quick to identify several of the guns from the Call of Duty: Black Ops series, with the Hades and ICR both, featured. While this will blend several futuristic rifles into the mix, there is also evidence of some classic as the Crossbow can be seen on the right-hand column. Call of Duty: Mobile fans will get to wield these weapons soon, but an official release date has not been revealed as of yet.

Fans in the comments are concerned that Call of Duty: Mobile may shift too far towards futuristic gunplay. However, one fan did point out that most of the weapons in the game come from the Modern Warfare franchise. This does give an extra reason for Black Ops weaponry to make its way into the next few seasons of Call of Duty: Mobile.

As is hinted at in the post, many Call of Duty: Mobile fans can easily identify several of the weapons. Long-term fans of the series know these guns well, and to have them in the mobile version is a welcomed sight. However, some fans do have concerns regarding the Crossbow's addition as extra explosive options could affect ranked gameplay.

The Call of Duty: Mobile competitive world will always be influenced by new weapons added to the meta. While it is unclear the exact impact these guns will have, many fans are certain that they will be faithful recreations of their former versions. Based on other ports seen in the Call of Duty: Mobile environment, the game's community can finally wield their favorite picks with minimal changes in this popular mobile shooter.
