When the Wastelanders DLC was released for Fallout 76 players were introduced to two new factions; the Settlers and Raiders. The Raiders now reside in the old Crashed Space Station which has been renamed, Crater. The Settlers, on the other hand, have taken up residence in the old Spruce Knob Workshop.

This new settlement has been labeled Foundation. These new factions each have their own reputation that players can raise (or lower). Raising the player's reputation with either of the factions will increase the number of items that players can buy from their vendors.
Complete The Wastelanders DLC
The Wastelanders DLC came with a complete campaign for players to run through that involves breaking into Vault 79 in an attempt to get access to the gold reserves locked within. During the campaign, players will get the opportunity to do quests for both the Settlers and Raiders. Completing some of these quests will raise the reputation of its respective faction. Later on, players will get the opportunity to side with one of the factions to break into the vault. Players will get a great reputation increase for whichever faction they choose. This is a great start and also necessary to unlock future quests to increase reputation.
Daily Quests - Raiders
There are two daily quests that players can grab from Crater; Retirement Plan and The Importance of Communication. During the Retirement Plan quest, players will be tasked with hunting down a former raider and taking care of them.

This mission also has raider hunters who will be actively searching for the former raider. During The Importance of Communication quest, players will be tasked with collecting broken vacuum tubes and repairing them to help Wren maintain the equipment at Crater.
Daily Quests - Settlers
Players can talk to Ward to get the Vital Equipment quest. This is the only daily quest that is exclusively available for the Settlers. After talking to Ward, players will be tasked with finding important equipment that was stolen from the Settlers. Players will be able to track the equipment and it will be found on either a Raider or Blood Eagle thief. Take out the thief and collect the equipment. Return the equipment to Ward to gain that sweet sweet reputation.
Daily Quests - Both
There is one daily quest that players can use to gain reputation for either of the factions. This quest is picked up from the Overseer's Mr. Handy robot named Davenport. He tasks players with doing recon on one of the factions.

It is important that players choose the faction they don't want to gain reputation with. Players will then need to go take photos of the faction they chose and deliver the photos to the opposing faction. Players can also return to the Overseer's house to get experience.
Encounters
There are two types of encounters that players can participate in; Faction Vs. Creature and Faction Vs. Faction. During Faction Vs. Creature encounters, players must team up with the faction to defeat enemies and gain reputation. During Faction Vs. Faction encounters, players will need to side with the faction of their choice to fight the other faction. They will gain reputation after the battle is over from any of the surviving members. The downside to these missions is that they don't offer much reputation. Make sure to check out the map to find out where these encounters take place.
