Several glitches are marking another rough start for Madden NFL 22 but the 'loss glitch' is among the most annoying for franchise players.

Madden NFL 22 has officially launched and unfortunately, it appears that the new entry into the franchise has been released with several bugs. There is one bug that is standing out when talking about the Madden NFL 22 Franchise mode "Loss Glitch" that is severely hampering people's interest in continuing on.

Over the last few years, the Madden NFL franchise has taken quite a bit of criticism from those in the community. There have been complaints that the game has been little more than a $60 reskin. There have also been some well-documented glitches in previous iterations that range from gameplay to the appearance of certain players. It appears that while Electronic Arts had made comments that it was going to make sure that it would iron out those kinds of problems for Madden NFL 22, there are still plenty of issues, including players losing all their stats, in a Franchise game, as well as the game itself.

Over the last several days, social media users have been pointing to the Loss Glitch as the most annoying of the bunch in Madden NFL 22. This particular bug seems to mostly be affecting offline franchise modes by erasing the outcome of a win, even if the player blew their AI opponent out. The glitch not only changes the score but wipes out any stats the player might have racked up.

One Twitter user, SBrudnok67, pointed out several different times Madden NFL 22 marked down one of their big wins, as a loss. The user said they won a game between the Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars 42-7, but when they went back to the main screen, it showed they lost 7-0 and didn't amass any stats.

The Loss Glitch is far from the only problem that the game has seen since it launched earlier this month. In fact, there were even problems with the title pre-launch in regards to its trial period on EA Play. Several users reported that the trial counter wasn't working right and they had run out of trial time before they played the full 10 hours. In response to those complaints, Electronic Arts extended the Madden NFL 22 trial period and gave people unlimited time until the MVP edition officially launched.

Several social media users have expressed frustrations over this year's entry into the franchise having these kinds of issues yet again. Many people wondered whether Madden NFL 22 would be worth purchasing, especially with the extra $10 price tag for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions. These kinds of glitches likely don't alleviate those questions.

Madden NFL 22 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
