Call of Duty: Warzone has had its fair share of issues, with many bugs having been pointed out over the past several months. However, one of the newer Call of Duty: Warzone glitches is transforming players into giants with a random change to their field of view.
Given how large the push has been for a console FOV in Call of Duty: Warzone, it seems fitting that the latest glitch is tied to the much-discussed topic. However, instead of giving players a wider FOV, the bug in question sees players lifted high in the sky. Essentially turning them into giants, it is a truly strange issue, and those that are looking to avoid it may want to stop using the Combat Bow in their battle royale matches.

The bug in question was posted by Call of Duty: Warzone player devon380, and as the title suggests, it sees the character model growing in height. The clip begins with them aiming out a window normally, attempting to line up a long range shot with their combat bow. However, as soon as it fires, their character model’s height grows to an absurd level. Their head hits the ceiling of the building that they were in, while they also fail to fit through the door. After trying everything, they run towards a window.
Instead of being stopped by the window like they were the door, the player flies outside. However, they are just as big here as they were in the building, and they soon realize that they have no weapon. With so much shooting going on around them, they begin to panic, getting stuck on a wall. They eventually try to go prone behind some cover, though devon380’s prone position is more like a crouch. However, their camera fixes shortly after they go prone, with their Call of Duty: Warzone loadout returning as well.
For those who are impacted by this glitch, perhaps going prone is the way to solve it. That said, it could be as simple as waiting for the camera to fix on its own, as it is unclear how devon380 escaped from the bug. For those curious about what the giant player would look like inside of Verdansk 84 or Rebirth Island, BizarreBandit points out in the comments that the player looks normal from third person. The glitch is entirely tied to the first-person camera, as it is placed over the player’s character model for some reason.
With Call of Duty: Warzone’s Season 5 Reloaded update right around the corner, hopefully this is one of the fixes it makes. With new game modes and a seasonal event on the way, being able to use the combat bow without fearing a strange growth spurt would be nice.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
