Netflix has released a new teaser for Adam McKay's Don't Look Up, which has a star-studded cast navigating what may be the end of the world.

Netflix has released a new teaser for Adam McKay's star-studded dark comedy Don't Look Up. After a previous teaser was released a few months ago, the new one previews a few additional stars in their roles.

Netflix's Don't Look Up has a clear warning that many will seem to ignore. The film is set to premiere in December in a limited number of theaters before heading to Netflix and it will test the survival instincts of a few familiar faces.

Don't Look Up will follow two astronomers as they try to warn the President and the rest of the world that a dangerous comet is approaching earth. The new teaser begins with Leonardo DiCaprio panicking in a bathroom before he and co-star Jennifer Lawrence attempt to convince Meryl Streep and Jonah Hill of the looming threat. Passing it off as another conspiracy theory, Streep and Hill are clearly apprehensive of the warning. As uncertain as Streep and Hill might be, the teaser proves that someone takes the warning seriously, as the rest of the world prepares to combat the threat hovering above their heads.

The Don't Look Up trailer names a few stars including Rob Morgan, Mark Rylance, Tyler Perry, Timothée Chalamet, Ron Perlman, Ariana Grande, Scott Mescudi, and Borderlands' Cate Blanchett. A number of them appear throughout the trailer, giving fans a sneak peek of the action they will partake in. While the trailer features a number of familiar names and faces, there are additional stars slated to appear. McKay has teased that former Captain America star Chris Evans will also make a brief comedic appearance. He has not revealed which role Evans will play but insisted that his appearance will be memorable. In addition to Evans, Matthew Perry, Himesh Patel, Michael Chiklis, and a number of others are also set to appear.

McKay, who serves as the director and writer of Don't Look Up, has had an illustrious film career that will have many excited to see what this disaster comedy may bring. After working on The Big Short, Vice, Step Brothers, and Anchorman, McKay is more than capable of delivering on a comedic front.

Don't Look Up will release in select theaters on December 10 and will arrive on Netflix on December 24, 2021.
