There is less than a week for Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7, and this Legendary Quest requires players to confront the mole.

Fortnite's Chapter 2, Season 7 finale event is fast approaching with just less than a week to go, and Operation: Sky Fire looks set to rid the island of aliens and the mothership once and for all. Players have been helping Slone and the Imagined Order with this plan for weeks in the form of weekly Legendary Quests, and this latest challenge involves confronting a specific mole somewhere on the island about sabotaging Slone's plans.

Thankfully, this challenge fits in nicely with another Legendary Quest from Week 14, which incorporates stopping the mole's sabotage plan, so gamers can complete two challenges in one by following this guide, helping Fortnite players earn XP towards the Battle Pass.

How to Find the Mole

Players can begin this challenge by seeking the Dinky Dish IO satellite station between Craggy Cliffs and Steamy Stacks. The satellite base is easy to spot as it is just a large radar dish with a red glow being emitted from its tip, so players will most likely be able to see it as they jump out of the Battle Bus. To complete the Week 14 Radar Dish Legendary Quest, shut down this satellite to earn the 15,000 XP and then continue with the mission of finding the mole.

After shutting down the satellite, players will want to head inside the main building and look for the Maven NPC inside to begin the confrontation.

How to Confront the Mole

To actually confront the mole, players must begin the conversation with the NPC by pressing the interact button. An option should appear to confront Maven about being a mole, thus allowing players to complete the challenge and earn 30,000 XP towards the Season 7 Battle Pass. Be warned, this confrontation might result in a battle, so Fortnite players will probably need to grab some strong weapons, especially IO weapons like the Pulse Rifle, to take on Maven.

So, it turns out Maven has been a mole within the IO this whole time. She has been relaying information to the invading alien mothership to try and sabotage Slone and the IO's plans to defend the island from alien invasion. By completing the weekly challenges like warning characters of impending doom, players have helped set the stage for the finale event on September 12th.

Fortnite is currently available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
