Find out who sells Rifts and how to activate it in Fortnite Season 7 to complete this Week 14 challenge before the Invasion theme ends.

Week 14 is the last chance for Fortnite players to earn XP for the current Season 7 Battle Pass. The final batch of Epic Quests includes the challenge to buy and activate a Rift, but it doesn't tell players where they can do this.

This mission and the other Season 7 Epic Quests must be completed before September 12, when the Operation: Sky Fire event starts and the Invasion theme ends.

Who Sells Rifts in Fortnite Season 7

There are 5 different NPCs in Fortnite Season 7 that sell Rifts:

  • Beast Boy
  • Bunker Jonesy
  • Guggimon
  • Joey
  • Rick Sanchez

Beast Boy and Rick Sanchez in Fortnite are two of the best characters to buy a Rift from to complete the week 14 Epic Quest. This is because they are near a lot of loot and are closer to the center of the map. Beast Boy is found on the bridge in the middle of Weeping Woods, and Rick is located on the top floor of the main building at the IO Base.

Joey at Dirty Docks is another decent location to visit to clear the quest, as it's not too difficult to get to the center of the map quickly. However, players should avoid Bunker Jonesy if they can. He is located at the bottom of a range of steep mountains, and it can be time-consuming to try and navigate out of without a lot of building materials.

Once players have chosen an NPC to visit, they have to interact with them, navigate to the 'Activate Rift' option, and press the required button prompt. It costs 245 Fortnite Gold Bars to activate the Rift. This will go towards the Wild Weeks Challenge of spending Gold Bars. This extra Legendary mission is party assist enabled, so friends can clear it quicker if they work together. After spending the gold and activating the rift, the Week 14 Epic Quest will clear and reward players with 30K XP.

Unlike Legendary Quests, Epic challenges are split into multiple questlines, so more than 1 can be completed in the same match. Choosing to buy and activate a Rift from Beast Boy or Rick Sanchez will help players clear all their weekly tasks quicker because they are close to many other challenges. A Fortnite Radar Dish is near Rick at the IO Base, and Beast Boy is in Weeping Woods, a great place to gather fireflies to ignite structures at the nearby Holly Hatchery.

Fortnite is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
