Each Farm map boasts different strengths while also possessing different weaknesses. The Wilderness Farm map offers the most potential for monster-slaying, especially since the rare Wilderness Golems have a greater chance to spawn here than elsewhere. Monster-Slaying Potential Of The Wilderness Farm Map

Every night, monsters spawn within the boundaries of the Wilderness Farm map, meaning that players won't need to go adventuring far from home to farm wild and aggressive creatures for their droppable loot. Among the more common mobs, rare Wilderness Golems will also spawn on occasion. The Wilderness Farm map is the easiest place to find Wilderness Golems, as other methods of doing so involve performing some specific tasks or altering things in the Advanced Options menu.

Farming Potential Of The Wilderness Farm Map

Since much of this Farm is occupied by cliffs and water, there is understandably less land for farming and building, though still definitely enough to get some crops going.

Easily the rarest monster that can spawn in the Wilderness Farm map, the aptly named Wilderness Golems are desired by players because they can drop some very rare items. Since they are also pushovers in combat, most won't have any trouble taking them down when they spawn as long as the player has a sword handy.

Other Ways To Find Wilderness Golems

If one does not select the Wilderness Farm map at the beginning of a new game, players will have to use other methods of finding this enemy if they truly desire its loot. The first way is to deliver a Strange Bun to the Dark Shrine of Night Terrors in the Witch's Hut, which nobody really wants to do. The other method is to straight-up cheat and check the "Spawn monsters on the farm" option box in the Advanced Menu.
