Destiny 2 has multiple enemy types, and a Titan gets payback against one of the most annoying ones in the most Titan way possible.

Destiny 2 is a game with plenty of different enemy types, ranging from the six races players can encounter in PVE activities to the ranks each combatant can have. This makes for a quite diverse environment for players to explore and interact with, and the more players experience it, the more it becomes clear specific enemies can be tougher to deal with. For example, the Brigs and the Wyverns are relatively new additions to the world of Destiny 2, and they have become feared by some due to their high damage output and the fact that they are harder to kill.

On this note, it's worth mentioning that Bungie's Joe Blackburn and Justin Truman announced during an interview that The Witch Queen's Hive Guardians will indeed be similar to Wyverns and Brigs. Tough enemies that are less troublesome than Champions, and Champions themselves, have been a nice addition to Destiny 2, as they make for a different sort of challenge. However, there are also iconic enemies, namely the Taken Phalanxes, in the game that became extremely annoying in some activities, especially those where players can be pushed off cliffs and into walls.

As a matter of fact, Taken Phalanxes can often lead to an unfair and untimely death of Destiny 2 Guardians, and over time they were considered one of the most irritating enemies to deal with in the game. That's why a Reddit post by a user called Rat192 gained so much following, as it shows an Unstoppable Taken Phalanx being punched into a wall on the opposite side of the area. This is likely due to a bug where the Phalanx's push attack got weirdly reflected onto it because of how melee animations work in Destiny 2.

Timing a regular melee attack against a Phalanx as it tries to use its push results in the player not being thrust away. What likely happened is that the push was redirected by the melee attack canceling it onto the Phalanx itself, turning the fight into a hilarious sketch. It does help that the player's class of choice is the Titan, which makes the act of "yeeting" the Unstoppable Taken Phalanx out of existence all the more satisfying.

This happening on the same week of Telesto being disabled for breaking Destiny 2, which makes for a great meme about Season 15 officially starting, now. The irony of the event is incredible, and many fellow players were happy to see this happen as payback for all those pushes that resulted in so many ridiculous deaths.

Destiny 2 is available right now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
