A Pokemon fan and The Sims 4 player combines the two iconic franchises through three impressive recreations of memorable locations.

With 8 generations of games and a number of different regions for players to explore, the Pokemon franchise has no shortage of memorable locations. Because of this, players and fans have long made tributes to famous places from the games. In an impressive crossover with The Sims 4, one player recreated a few memorable places from the original Pokemon games and Pokemon Sword and Shield.

The Sims 4 is the latest game in the long running life simulation series. Because it allows players to create, The Sims 4 has often been used by players to make recreations of places from other video game series. Players should recognize the first location in this post as Pallet Town (from the first generation of games) and the other two locations as the player's home and the Pokemon Lab from Pokemon Sword and Shield

The three major recreations in u/Feelinara1992's post should instantly bring up memories for fans of the Pokemon franchise. Palet Town is the home of Ash and where players began their journey in the first generation of games. The recreation in The Sims 4 matches the original design's two homes and famous laboratory. Beyond this recreation, u/Feelinara1992 also added the protagonist's home as well as the Pokemon Lab from the town of Wedgehurst in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Both designs match their Pokemon counterparts well.

These reconstructions are proof of some impressive dedication by u/Feelinara1992. The individual buildings here are not easy to replicate, and each structure must have taken quite a bit of time. Though The Sims 4 gives players a lot of creative freedom when it comes to designing buildings, to get this close to Pallet Town, the Pokemon Lab, and the player home is an achievement. Players will likely need some of The Sims 4 optional additional content to get these exact looks, however.

Builds such as this one make the lack of an official collaboration between Pokemon and The Sims 4 feel like a missed opportunity. Both franchises have their fair share of fans and, with the latter's creative capacity and the memorable locations in the Pokemon franchise, it seems like a natural combination.

That being said, official collaboration would make posts like this less inspiring. It is that attempt to bring one world into the other that makes u/Feelinara1992's post worthy of note. So while fans of both series await any official collaboration, there remains impressive tributes such as this one to see.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are available on the Nintendo Switch.
