It is hard to pick any one place to start as the sleeve features multiple iconic symbols and references to Part 2 and the original game. Just some of the images in tjmkil's tattoo are the haunting X-Ray of a clicker, Joel's broken watch, a nod to Ellie's floral tattoo, Ellie's switchblade knife, and finally the rocketship pin she takes while at the museum with Joel. Both The Last of Us and Part 2 are built on these symbols, so whether its a tattoo or the Project Spores fan film, it is always interesting to see how fans integrate them into their tributes.

Fans are raving over the tattoo in the comments, with tjmkil providing some insight into the tattoo's creation. According to tjmkil, the tattoo started with the X-Ray clicker at the top of the arm, then their tattoo artist designed the rest of the sleeve after receiving the other icons they wanted to include. One fan points out how tjmkil includes mostly the "wholesome scenes" from the game to which they respond, "They're the best scenes!" There are certainly many more depressing moments in The Last of Us series than bright ones, so to encpasulate the wholesome ones into one project is quite the optimistic tribute.

Now a year removed from The Last of Us: Part 2, fans attention has returned to Naughty Dog as to what their next project might be. Many are hoping for more The Last of Us content, with certain Naughty Dog job listings hinting at multiplayer for The Last of Us: Part 2. Others think that based on how Part 2 ended, maybe it's time for The Last of Us to end. Whatever the course is, at least the fan projects will never stop coming.
