Call of Duty: Warzone players are counting down the days until the new map and anti-cheat system make their debut, as they are currently dealing with several issues in the current version of the game. These problems are not limited to hackers, either, as the frustrating invincibility bug has made a comeback in Call of Duty: Warzone.
One of Call of Duty: Warzone’s most troublesome glitches, the invincibility exploit is something that has been triggered in a number of ways. The Stadium Pillar was a common strategy at one point, as the Verdansk location gave players who reached it first an unfair advantage. Loadout drops also were a trigger, with players intentionally getting stuck inside them, while yet another invincibility glitch was tied to buying players back in Call of Duty: Warzone at a specific point in the match.

Reddit user NuttyMcCrunch showed off the latest invincibility glitch, though it seems like they did not realize it has been a recurring bug in the game. Calling the opponent a hacker in the post is understandable, though, as Call of Duty: Warzone’s cheating has been plentiful lately. With flying vehicles being used and unreleased skins being worn, an invincibility hack is sadly not too absurd. However, players like Nintendo_Pro_03 point out how it was done on the comments, and the process may frustrate players even more.
Call of Duty: Warzone’s Rytec Sniper Rifle and Combat Bow have the ability to lower players to exactly one health, and if they survive, they will become immune to further damage. This exploit is hard to pull off with two participating players, however, as someone needs to shoot the other in the right spot while a riot shield is equipped. Unfortunately, it seems like that is what happened here, with a few enemies teaming up inside a solo match to completely ruin the fun of the game for those playing fairly.
As shown in the clip, NuttyMcCrunch cannot kill their opponents no matter how many shots they put into them. Worse, a group of three invincible players teams up to take the Redditor down, showing that there are several enemies in the lobby that have no shame about earning cheap wins. They even spectated other players to confirm that the enemies were invincible, and surely enough, other gamers in the lobby fell victim to the same group of cheaters. Unfortunately, there is nothing that Call of Duty: Warzone players can do to fight back against these invincible opponents.
Hopefully, Call of Duty: Warzone’s anti-cheat system can detect exploits like this alongside proper aimbots and wallhacks. Based on this video, bugs such as this can damage the experience just as much as any other form of cheating.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
