As well as its 30-hour main story, Tales of Arise boasts plenty of side activities to keep players busy. These include fishing, weapon crafting, and Gigant Zeugle hunting, but the most time-consuming of them all are undoubtedly the game's many sub-quests. There are 70 of them in total, with 11 of these being initiated in the game's first realm, Calaglia.

While the majority of Calaglia's sub-quests can be completed fairly early on, there are a few which won't become available until much later on in the story. This means that players will need to regularly check back in with the people of the realm to look for new ones, or, at the very least, keep an eye out for the envelope icons – which signify an available quest – in Tales of Arise's fast travel menu.

Giant Zeugle Hunt

Quest Giver	Crimson Crows member (Ulzebek)
Unlock Requirements	Complete the "Supply Procurement" sub-quest.
Strategy	Defeat the Mantis Gigant Zeugle (level 43) in Sandinus Ravine. It's very high level, so players will need to wait until much later in the game before they can turn this one in.
Rewards	12,600 Gald 380 SP

Hunger Averted

Quest Giver	Woman Cook (Ulzebek)
Unlock Requirements	Explore the Fagan Ruins in Iglia Wastes.
Strategy	Give the woman wheat (x3) and potatoes (x3).
Rewards	Steamed Potatoes Recipe 700 Gald 190 SP

Forging From Scratch

Quest Giver	Dyron (Ulzebek)
Unlock Requirements	Return to Ulzebek after visiting Mosgul.
Strategy	Speak to the blacksmith at the inn.
Rewards	500 Gald 165 SP

The Hunt for New Arms

Unlock Requirements	Defeat Balseph in Glanymede Castle.
Strategy	Give Dyron three Stone Fragments.
Rewards	700 Gald 170 SP

Shionne the Fashion Critic

Quest Giver	Handsome Nobleman (Ulzebek)
Unlock Requirements	Defeat Balseph in Glanymede Castle.
Strategy	Choose any one of the options and then return to him after defeating Vholran in Del Fharis Castle to check out his new look.

Taking Root

Quest Giver	Grenar (Ulzebek)
Unlock Requirements	Defeat Balseph in Glanymede Castle and then visit the Gates of Fire.
Strategy	Kill the enemies marked on the map in Iglia Wastes.

Unlock Requirements	Defeat Balseph in Glanymede Castle and then visit the Gates of Fire.

Into the Grotto

Unlock Requirements	Obtain the Secret Key by defeating the Efreet Malum boss in Berg Volcano and then return to the Trench of Flames East Side area.
Strategy	Use the key to enter the Grotto.

Unlock Requirements	Reach the Rena section of the story.
Strategy	Speak to Nayth and then head for the quest marker in Iglia Wastes. Use Law's Map Action to destroy the boulder and then defeat the Thunderite Gigant Zeugle (level 53).
Rewards	Zephyr's Ring (Accessory) Dawn Braces (Weapon) 12,600 Gald 265 SP Law's "Torch Bearer" Title

Global Connection

Quest Giver	Doc (Mosgul)
Unlock Requirements	Reach the Rena section of the story.
Strategy	Deliver wheat (x6) and eggs (x6) to the merchant in Glanymede Castle and then return to Doc.
