Tales of Arise is a huge game, and there is a lot of fighting to be done throughout its lengthy campaign and the post-game content. Thankfully, the combat system is one of the series' best, and it's always a joy to participate in the battles. The fighting system consistently evolves as the characters level up and unlock more skills.

In addition to gaining new skills and abilities, Tales of Arise's fighting system wouldn't be as entertaining without a great selection of weapons. Each character has their own ultimate weapon to obtain. Here's where players can get them all, and unleash every character's fighting potential
Alphen: Nebilim Sword
Attack | Elemental Attack | Penetration |
---|---|---|
1283 | 1283 | 553 |
Alphen’s most powerful sword is the Nebilim. It is only available after completing the main story to use in the post-game content. This may sound disappointing — however, there are some very difficult and worthwhile sub-quests in the post-game content. In addition, if the player has the Battle Maiden’s Shield obtained from the Owl sub-quests, they can carry all weapons, accessories, and armor into the New Game Plus.
To obtain the Nebilim Sword for Alphen, load the Clear Data after finishing the main quest and follow these steps:
- Complete the “Spirit Temple” Sub-Quest to get the quest from the Space-Time Researcher
- Complete the “Another Hillside Anomaly” Sub-Quest
-
Complete the “Otherworldly Visitors” Sub-Quest:
- Obtain the second key after completing the Symphony Rift dungeon
- Obtain the third key after completing the Abyss Rift dungeon
- Obtain the fourth key after completing the Zest Rift dungeon
- Obtain the fifth key after completing the Night Rift dungeon
- Obtain the sixth key after completing the Vesper Rift dungeon
Once the final boss in the Vesper Rift is defeated, Alphen will be rewarded with Nebilim, his most powerful weapon.
Shionne: The Monochrome Spiral
Attack | Elemental Attack | Penetration |
---|---|---|
538 | 568 | 552 |
The Monochrome Spiral is Shionne’s best weapon. However, like Alphen’s Nebilim Sword, it can only be obtained in the post-game content. To do this, one needs to access their Clear Data save file that is marked with a star. The Forge Weapon menu screen will show the Monochrome Spiral as a weapon that can be crafted.
