It seems that Naughty Dog is rather busy with new projects at the moment. With the studio working on the upcoming Last of Us 2 multiplayer, and word on the street that a new Uncharted is likely to be inevitable, the California-based team is still showing the world its prowess in excellent gameplay with exemplary story writing. On top of that, a recent tweet from the company's senior cinematic animator hints at the fact that something is currently being worked on, and it's getting the fan base all riled up.
Posting to Twitter a few days ago, Marianne Hayden of Naughty Dog is seen on a motion capture set, not only alongside actor and stuntman Mark Musashi, but also sporting a The Last of Us 2 t-shirt. There is not much else that can be gleamed from the image, but Hayden does say that it's "nice to be back on the stage!" which suggests that the studio is hard at work on its next project, whatever that may be.

Naturally, many have replied to the tweet, wondering what it is Hayden and Naughty Dog are working on. Some have speculated that it could be related to The Last of Us 3 which currently has a plot but may not be in development yet. While it would be nice to know that TLoU3 is what's being worked on right now, it's likely the next installment in the bleak, apocalyptic series is probably a long way off from being developed, especially with what the studio is currently busy doing.
Recently, it was announced that Naughty Dog is working on multiple AAA titles, after several job listings were posted online. It's entirely possible that a new Uncharted game could be what's currently in the pipeline, but Hayden is not giving anything away at this point, it seems. Even the inclusion of Mushashi in the photo doesn't give any hints, given that he has been the stuntman on both The Last of Us and Uncharted games, so his presence in the tweet doesn't help to narrow things down.
With recent rumors that an Uncharted collection may be coming to PC, all eyes are on Naughty Dog as they work tirelessly on several projects, with the fan base knowing very little about what's actually coming. It could be a new installment in one of its most critically acclaimed series, or it could be a brand-new IP all together. Whatever the case, Hayden's tweet has certainly got people talking.
