The Zack Snyder Cut of Justice League continues to do well with fans months after its release on WarnerMedia's HBO Max streaming service.

Zack Snyder's Justice League has been doing very well in terms of sales on Blu-Ray despite already being on HBO Max. The film has been seeing an increase in the number of copies sold as of late, all while Justice League will continue to stream on HBO Max.

The home release of Zack Snyder's Justice League went all the way up to the top of the NPD VideoScan First Alert chart, which is known for tracking combined DVD and Blu-ray sales for movies as well as television show releases. Interestingly enough, 75% of the first-week sales of Justice League were for Blu-ray, which shows how common it is now to own a device capable of playing a Blu-ray in comparison to what it was before. Still, there's a market for the now "vintage" DVD player, as it makes up 25% of the sales.

What's interesting is that Zack Snyder's Justice League did better in sales in comparison to The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. This may be a good sign for DC comic book fans, as many of them would like to see Snyder's vision for the live-action DC universe continue despite the apparent feedback from the higher-ups at the company, who want to move in a different direction. The theatrical cut of Justice League received mixed-to-negative reviews, which prompted Warner Bros. to go back to the drawing board and revise plans for the DC Extended Universe.

Many of the DC fans want to see the same actors stay in their DC roles moving forward. Fans want Ben Affleck to return for another shot at the role of Bruce Wayne, and they are excited to see him back for the upcoming Flash solo film, which will also have Michael Keaton back as Batman. The Flash movie has a lot resting on its shoulders and will potentially affect the future of the DC films as fans know it. Henry Cavill is another actor who has seemingly stepped away from his role, but fans don't want to see him replaced as Superman.

Despite not being heavily promoted, Justice League is doing better than Conjuring's third film, which might be a good sign for Warner Bros and DC to give Snyder a second shot at returning to the helm of the story moving forward. Snyder released his archived plans for the Justice League trilogy, and it looked like it was going to be a story that dives into uncharted territory for the superhero genre, which would've made it a heavy contender against Marvel. Although, the fact that his story was "unconventional" may be the reason that the executives were scared to give Snyder the chance.

Regardless of which side people stay on, it would be nice to see the creator back at the helm of DC, but Snyder seems to have moved on with his own projects such as Army of Thieves. Hopefully, Snyder sees the fruits of his labor one way or another moving forward, as the way DC and Warner Bros treated him is not fair considering what the director went through. Moving forward, creators, crew, and talent will hopefully get better treatment.

Justice League is available now on HBO Max, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
